  1. Ill get some pics when im done cutting out stuff from the engine bay and ready to start getting some mounts made up. Have found a guy doing the same build but with a turbo motor and says there is enough room so will talk to him
  2. I need to move my steering rack over slightly to drivers side more so i can clear an exhaust through. If i do it will i screw things up alot or just have to adjust the tie rods accordingly. Ive heard of people moving it forwards and backwards but havent seen anything about left to right. Cheers
  3. Started cutting out the tubs today trying to get rid of as much weight up front as possible. Waiting on some cash to get a gearbox and then i can start fabbing up some mounts.
  4. Havent got a bonnet for it at the moment so cant test but as its for track ill just cut a hole
  5. Yeah ill see how she goes NA, can always pull it out and put a turbo motor in
  6. Picked up a 33 four door shell a little while back and have been contemplating what engine to put in it. Had a ls1 at one stage then was going to build a 25 but then i decided i want to do something different. The hunt began and i picked up a manual barra 182 from a xr6 with loom ecu flywheel thermos fuse box for $240. Gearbox was stuffed so didnt take that but should be able to pick one up fairly cheap. I am actually surprised with how the engine sits the mounts line up very well and the only major problems are the exhaust and power steering lines. With an exhaust tune and maybe a set of cams im hoping to push 200kw and should be able to drift by the end of the year.
