Has anyone here run a EFR 9174 or 9180 1.05Ar on a RB30 or Stroker?? Looking at running a Borgy on a 26/3.4. But cannot decide .. Looking to see what would work best in a drift car
Long thread but 8374 on 3.2 results towards the end

ahem IIRC yours wasn't that far behind?

Ah ok. So in an aftermarket/ecu sense is an IAT useful for anything other than monitoring intake temp (assuming it's properly positioned in the airflow and insulated)?
-
Without wishing to go OT, how is it that the RB26 IAT sensor measures plenum temp rather than air temp? Doesn't that suggest that no matter where and IAT it is it'll measure the temp of the thing in which it's sitting rather than the air? What does the RB26 ECU use for normal fuel-air or timing input?

Still have the Ross trigger kit?

Ah, no worries Paul thought from the post he had. Trying to wake the bugger up from his coastal daze

Someone had to start it again, lets hope it does not get bogged down with BS ?
But it is hard to find info on the EFRs ?
I think because there are so many build types for Skylines now ranging from stock to over 3.2Lt , it is also hard to have back to back comparisons.
But from what I can find out, the EFR8374 will get me going quicker, with a much better transient response and roughly to the same top HP as my PT6266 Gen 2 ?
Hopefully some back to back comparisons
So put it on already

Thanks for the interest, will try to get photos up on the weekend

Have to ask how you broke the steering wheel...

Hi Stephen can you please tell me where you got the steering wheel redone?
Thanks

I used to have faith in Shannons but have just been through the claim process, it was a shambles. Something changed in terms of ownership apparently, and it's been downhill since then from a customer and repairer perspective.
Still have cars insured with them but just saying...very unfortunate, they were once good to deal with.
