[Wastegate??? Chinese or not]

Hey anybody got any thought on these wastegates on eBay and other sites?

The tial knock offs ($140) in particular... anybody using one or recommend another?

I am contemplating getting one cause things are right at the moment and the next best is turbosmart at $370

 

I'm hanging to drop the engine in and I can't do it until I get the new wastegate and weld up my exhaust dump and flanges ...

 

Any help appreciated

Which bearings for Forged Conrods rb25

Hey guys 

bought myself a set of forged rods for the rb25 build and I know the process for selecting bearings when it is stock rods but what is the process for selecting bearings for a set of forged rods? Do I need to get the crank linished? Or......  

 

I read conflicting stories with conrod bearings and that was you only need the numbers off the crank for rod bearings and the. I read you need the number off the rod aswell as the crank 

 

now I'm confusedddddd 

please help

[rb25 86.5 mm bore and genuine head gasket????]

Just have always liked genuine gear and I can get a full engine genuine gasket kit for 350 bucks
But I'll stew on it a little more....

If I do go cosmetic or another then I'll have to get the head decked too I guess hey?

Another question if you know the answer what's the go with gtr pumps on 25's? Worth doing? Do they need restrictors in the head or no?
I can get gtr genuine pump for 350$ or a 25 pump is bloody Close to 500$

Probably good for 400-450hp I am guessing and hoping

rb25 86.5 mm bore and Genuine head gasket????

Can anyone tell me if using a genuine head gasket on a 86.5 mm bore will be ok? 

 

I know the gaskets aren't spot on but just unsure and would rather use genuine all round then Anything else especially with the tolerance issues that come with metal gaskets
