Kezza mate what are you talking about i just clicked the link and doesnt show the cutting of any slit??? Just shows that you slide them over poking the needle through the centre hole.... which was what i thought annyway?
my blue met dials came totally pre cut anyway... are not the white dials the same?
Lastly, how do i go about getting that fifth blue LED from you? pronto pronto!!
ok, im new to the metalic dials i didnt open anyones pack to have a good look at them, I will find out about how they are fitted!!
But yeah the link showes all i can get as in the way of fitment!! I didnt have any drama.. i did make the mistake of taking off my needles, but hey i didnt look at the how to file!!
and i have the led ordered, and you will just have to be patent for it!
I thought that on the first page, it said that those buying the leds get 4 x 2 led packs. That is, they get 8 LEDS.Ah yeah i did f*k up on that!!! i was unsure of the led kits back at the start, but when i gave quotes for them in pm, i did say they came in packs of 4 RAHHHHh..... I will be taking orders for more led kits.. and their will be 5 in them!!
And to those who had ordered them i will get you a 5th one for $20

If so, the second type gives a wide angle, and they are known as inverted lens LEDs.
NO, they are not the same as those!!! The inverted led is just the same as a tic tac one but its even worse. cause it seems to loose the light altogether!
manwhore no i dont think the LEDs i got from kezza are like that. and yeah i only got 4 LEDs. Kinda cant do anything until i get enough for the cluster!!! how did this happen??xizor i have ordered your 5th led...

How the hell did you get your dials over the needle without removing it???
I cannot work out how the bloody things go on without removing the needle!
NOOOOOO dont remove the needles, for the love of god NOOOOOO!
look at the face of the dial and you will see a faint line horizontaly accross... with a very sharp blade and very clean ruler slice it! and then when you go to fit it, slip the needle through the slit
And 9 months later you will have little baby dials! -

they are a flat hi power LED. not like a tic tac looking led!!! um, and the way the dome on the top is, lets close to 180degrees of light
once the last set come in ill show on my wall at night they way they work!!

yeah they look really good but 1 just doesn't light up...Kezz said about $20 for the extra bulb and Autobarn has some for about the same price so am goin to get Kezz to get me one so it's all the same colour.
good man... i wouldnt be getting no junk ones from auto barn! OK OK, do it... get ya self one from auto barn, and get one off me... then hook them both up and just have a look!!!! hahaha then you will chuck the autobarn one away.....
I have a few junk ones from auto barn from when i was a noob to the leds.... ill do it!!! when the next led comes in for clakka ill do a test... and ill do a test and take some pics, to just show people to get the REAL thing and junk!!!

Hey Kezza, that Blitz VGTT is the shiznit, I had one in my skyline when I first bought it, but it got taken out when I had a full python remote-start alarm/immobiliser (including Turbo-timer) installed and it got replaced.
But noy the new python isnt working anymore and I want to swap back to the VGTT, I've looked for links or instructions but I couldnt find.
its easy dude,
purple =hand brake
orange = speed sensor wire
white=is only for autos
red is= constant 12v power off the key
blue= ACC
green= ON
about 10min to wire up!!
Interested in the boost controller. How much to post to the sunny coast 4573?ill have to find out, or you may be able to find out.. my post code is 4670

I used a scalpel - dont know where I got it from but it was sitting around at home...
Cutting a small circle with a scalpel aint easy though...
i used a scalpel as well, just poke a small hole and slowly turn untill holde is reamed out to size!!!
Cheers mate...I think I may take them to a screen printer mate of mine to cut it lol...also Kezza I put the led's in but they lit up all but 1 of my dials...any chance of getting 1 more blue ledPM sent bud!

one hint, go and get a pair of cotton gloves, or some rubber condom ones... or just make sure you have no oil and real clean hands with fitting the bezels, if you get putting finger prints all over them you have to clean them!!!

Manwhore - where are you located? Im busy tomorrow morning/early arvo, but free rest of the day. And im working sunday until the arvo. Im f'kn useless with doing all this stuff to my car im not even gonna bother, i normally just get friends to do it and compensate them, or take my car to powerplay for them to fit stuff. I dont really feel satisfaction from working on my car, if anything, i feel paranoia it'll fkup.

Received mine today. Kezz, I received the wrong bezel. My car is a sII r33. I received a bezel for a sI. It does not fit. Kez, can you give us a buzz and we'll fix this.
For all the people in sydney (hey xizor), wanna get together and install ours together? That way, for the people who haven't taken clusters out etc, we can help each other, and for those of us who know what's going on, it's still easier AND MORE FUN if you're doing it with other people, and you might pick up tips for how they did it. Maybe we could organise a location, chuck some food on the barby and install bezzas and dials! Yeah baby.

yeah man.. The leds are easy to fit!!! just plug and play items... only you need to make sure they are in the correct way!! one of 2 ways, lol one way wont work and the other way will ... they have built in diod so they will not blow if in reverse polarity!
but yeah the led kits we have are in sets of 4.. unsure if you would need more.... wouldnt think so!!
Had a look through the site listed above... and yeah they are just normal leds aranged in formation so they will give the best light hey can , because they are not full wide angle leds! as much as they say they are!!!
As the ones who ordered through me will see, that they are bright as hell! I know, i hooked one up to check it out , and i was BLIND for about 15min, lol.... well not fully blind but i could see a full on black area in my vision for ages...
they are $$$ because they are alot more powerfull, and they even have to have a small heat sink built in. they make that much light!!! Dont worry the heat sink WILL take the unwanted heat and WONT cause any problem, still not as much heat as a normal globe would make anyhow!!!
I could go on and on about leds, my car has alot of them... lol!!
the reason you need WIDE angle leds for dial app is because you only have 30mm or so from the point of light o the back of the dial its self.. now if you have a copy of a wide angle led you will see when they are on one point that is very bringt and dull around it!!!!
the WIDE angle leds have close to 180' of light chucked out so an even light will be showen on the dials!
If you missed out on the hi power led kits, ar maybe want more, the first led on that page listed above would be the best that site can give !! The rest are no good !
Im in the midlle of making a set of led tail lights for the R32!! using stock tails so you dont have the bling look of the aftermarkit ones. And just to have something full custom! then ill sell them!!

they are in brisbane, they have been stuck in customs for the passed week!!! the pricks are trying to charge me 10%GST + 10% import tax... cause they are all worth so much!!!!
But lucky, fingers crossed i have found the loop hole and wont be screwed over by the customs boys!!!
But apart from that they would have been here over a week ago!!!
