  1. Just got my Stagea 25x Four back after a four week auto box rebuild. It ran real good for about 50k's, but now when I turn the key the light in the power /snow switch ( power light ) flashes ( 15 or 16 times ) and the gear changes seem very rough, and too late. I am going to take it back to the mechanic, but wondered if anybody knows what the error codes mean?
  2. I have a large tranny cooler fitted to my 25x Four ( 4WD non Turbo ) Stagea as I tow a caravan. But I notice it takes ages for the box to go into torque converter lockup during normal driving. I am guessing this is because the cooler is so efficent and there is a temp sensor in the tranny?? I tried putting a board in front of the cooler when I was not towing, but not any better. Is there anyone else with an extra cooler who has noticed this too?? Bit hard on fuel this way, as does 3000rpm at 100kph till the TC locks up!
  3. I too had to replace just about all the bulbs for the climate control!! I found if you gently lever the hazard light switch off, you can use that hole to get your fingers behind the vents to pop them out. As for the band expander, I heard if you only plus into one of the wires, you will loose conversion, therefore signal, in low signal areas, as the unit goes to the thinner wire aerial - I think it is called FM Diversity. I too find the reception is pretty crap, and are thinking of fitting a 'normal' aerial somewhere rather than the glass one --- anybody got any ideas of what type and where to mount a normal aerial????????
  4. My Stagea wagon has a switch on the left side of the steering wheel, just below the rear screen demist and diff lock buttons that is labelled ' Light Reduce' What is it for?? I turned it one, but can't really see what it is doing?? Any ideas?
  5. My Stagea just uses the wires in the side rear windows for an aerial, but is not much good. I'm thinking of fitting a more standard type aerial to help reception. I've got the adapter for the two leads down to standard one, but am not sure where to mount the aerial, or what type I should fit. Has anybody got an aerail fitted? What type and where is it? I wondered if the A pillar would be best? If so, how easy is it the gain access to run the lead?
