So I bought my n/a 33 without a sway bar.. went to install one and the aftermarket resonator was in the way so decided my easiest way around that is to get a staight pipe welded on to fit the sway bar.. once that was done the exhaust became extremely raspy or rattley driving around 3k-5k so decided to get a new resonator installed a little closer to the motor only by about 10 inches but I figured the exhaust would go back to how it was with the new resonator but hasn’t is there anything I’m missing here because I’m really sick of the way it sounds what else can I do

Seems like it only becomes distorted now when left on a low volume could that be signs my amp is on its way out?

My r33 has been playing up over the last month will sometimes be extremely distorted when driving gets worse going over bumps sometimes but plays up whether I’m driving or not then goes away and is perfectly clear sounding. Not sure where to start in diagnosing but I’ve made sure everything is plugged in to the amp and back of head unit but yeh any ideas where to start or what to test? has pioneer head unit and amp

Fixed- replaced CAS seems it was bent

What I should of said was I removed the bracket and re installed both dowls weren’t damaged and went on and same result... plan from now is a find a donnor cas and see if that changes anything other then that I’m cluesless

Update it’s the bracket not the actual gear. All bolts in bracket are tight not sure what this means 754A6B5B-3804-4114-87F6-9B23008FFF40.MOV

Once I pull it back apart what would u like pictures of or for me to be checking

Yeh I’ve figured that but don’t know what’s done wrong nothing noticeable is wrong and it’s pretty straight forward

What do u mean by pulley not seated. To check am I removing the pulley completely and re installing?

Replaced my timing belt with a gates kit once all back together I noticed my cams wobbling. Belt isn’t over tightend, everything was lined up properly and isn’t out of time. Not really sure what else to check any ideas? 4DA349E0-7392-4285-BB0B-AD125F524515.MP4

Battery light/ engine light after battery disconnected Hi Just disconnected my battery as i needed to pull my steering wheel off. Its all back together now and my battery light stays on and my engine light comes on when i rev it any ideas whats causing that? Its a 1996 s2 r33 gts
