  1. It needs to be the JECS board Should be clearly marked on the ecu Plenty of r34 on here have Nistunes I think they have got mixed up with r33's. They can use/have used the 300zx.
  2. Diffuser $1850 http://www.japaneseimportspares.com.au/nissangtr/
  3. Picked up a pair of EVO 8 Recaro's yesterday for the fronts. Just need to make them fit the bride rails. Will be using series 2 manual back seat and door trims I have lying around.
  4. I am a lover of 2/3 peice rims. Does not matter too much on center colour, but need the polished rim whit as much dish as possible. That is why I am looking at modular wheels so I can get my offsets right. I think most have seen my previous R33, ford blueprint with gold rims. plus 15 years ago ta22 celica in ford everglad green with gold B45's in a massive 15x6 with 195 tyres. That was huge back then LOL Would also like a set of Duluck six spokes, but they have stopped making them
  5. Looking at new wheels. I am a bit over the R34 rims Maybe these in 19x8.5 or 19x9's These are 3 peice that way I can play around with offsets and not have to use spacers on the front. With the R34 front being wider, I need to run approx 20mm wider offset than the rears to fill the guards. With a type A or B disk upfront and C disk on the rear, should be able to keep the same dish F & R Was thinking gold Rays GT-c's but the price is up around $4500 for rims
  6. I did a quick search http://www.autoartwheels.com/pages/index.html
  7. Can we get some more details 1. Where are these made 2. Are they cast or forged 3. Weights 4. Do prices quoted include wheels nuts and center caps etc 5. Is there just these 5 styles 6. Do you have any pic's on cars or better pic's Thanks
  8. There is only 2 hire booths in Brisbane. $90-100 per hour plus bake time. So by the time you roll in, mask up and paint and bake it is around 4-5 hours Plus the painters cost Worked on the car all weekend, meet with the painter/mate yesterday arvo everything was planned to paint it today. Get a text this morning at 6.20am, sorry mate can not do. I was furious Spoke with my brother in law today who is a panel beater. His painter is going to do it this Sunday for $200. He sounds cheap, but he painted a mustang recently which got voted Australia's best. So it should could up great if my prep work is any good. Fingers crossed. Fitted new sydneykids bilsteins today. The rear can only go to 340mm, they hit the tyres. Have 5 more grooves to go. The fronts have a few more grooves to go but the bottom platform hits the suspension arms, even after putting a 4mm deep groove in the bottom spring platform. Should just leave the boody thing standard!!
  9. Anyone want a cheap parts car? http://www.pickles.com.au/damaged/vehicle/...2092698/lotid-0
  10. Grew up in ormiston for 25 years!
  11. I live at Victoria Point You?
  12. Update - Every thing turned to shit on the weekend Car is now all fully primed and rubbed down with 600 grit. Picked up the car trailer Friday arvo to take it get painted and final rub down with 800 on Saturday for a 6.00am start. Got a text 9.00pm Friday night saying can not do the car tomorrow. I was shatted!! My painter mate's boss spat the dummy big time and he can no longer use the the booth on weekends. Now tring to find another booth or maybe a new painter. If I get a new painter it be at least 2 weeks till they can fit me in
  13. Price is fixed at $600. Will be same if we have 3 or 10 people.
  14. I need to find a spray booth I can hire in Brisbane on a week end. I have a painter lined up, car is ready to go. I know about the hire booth at Rocklea, looking for others If you are a painter but only interested in doing the job yourself, PM me
  15. Estimate was a bit high. The actually weighed 8kg for the pair. Only $300 to pay now and the balance in 8 weeks time $300 Sounds alot cheaper that way
  16. $5000 is a very fair price My AWD manual conversion cost me $3000 in parts with r33 gtr box only costing $800 and s/hand manual console (very rare to find) $650 and clutch $850. Your conversion R33/R34 manual box $1200-1500 New Console approx $1000 New clutch $500 Clutch pedal, brake pedal, hand brake and all the bolts etc needed $500-700 Does not leave too much for all the labour to do the conversion and the sump mods.
  17. I paid $800 for a full set R34 GTT brakes, front and rear. Included the brake booster, brake lines, bolts, pads, rotors and calipers etc. It was 2 years ago. Prices were a little higher back then. I just bought a set of R33 front and rears calipers with slotted RDA rotors and fancy pads, all done 5-10000k's for $550.
  18. This looks more exciting than the boring 3D modeling of pipes I draw all day (when I am not on SAU )
  19. Mine are off at the moment, I will weigh them tonight I think you will be supprised how heavy they are, at a guess they would be approx 15kg for the pair These will be full replacement strips on the roof. It is not covering plugs to cover the holes where the rails bolt thru. It would be alot cheaper option to make some covering plugs as such, but it would like a patch job.
  20. I had a look and drive of this car on the weekend You have to see it in person. Great car and worth every cent with amount of quality mods. Good luck with the sale Well worth the trip to see this car.
  21. There has been some interest in getting replacement roof rails made for C34 stagea's I have a company prepared to make them. They first need to make the moulds and then the production will begin The first set will be read in approx 6-7 weeks and 1 set per week made after that. To kick this off we need 5 people prepared to pay a 50% deposit up front, otherwise it will not happen. Deposits will be paided directly to CCubed and held until we get a minimum of 5 people. If it all falls over, the deposits will be refunded. A full company reciept will be given, so your money will be safe. CCubed is the company, based in Sydney and produce high quality fibreglass and real carbon products as well as prepare race cars. Andrew the owner and is a stagea lover and has one project car and a parts cars. You may be farmiliar with their work, they built Brcyey/Evomitches yellow R34 stagea. CCubed also have the full moulds for a complete bolt on R34 front for the stagea. Costs will be $600 pair for fibreglass, ready for painting or $1200 for 100% carbon fibre. Postage will be aprrox $30-60, they are 2m long! Quality, paste of an email from Andrew "All our components are vacuum formed and resin infused. This allows us to maintain a extremely high level of quality and finish. We only use high quality resins as these are much more stable and of a higher structural grade" Without sounding rude, if you are interested, you must be prepared to put your money where your mouth is and pay the deposit!! Would like to have the first 5 deposits paided within 2 weeks, close date 7th August 2009. Current list of interested people RBstagea Greenghost Me (Darrinspencer) Attached is pic of what they will look like if you paint them black.
  22. Micah I just sent you a text If you are prepared to pay for quality Cut and paste email form Andrew ate CCubed Will need a 50% deposit form people $300/600 upfront!!!! "Ok, I am always nervous of group buys, we would need to get things sorted properly with everyone who is buying these units. Not to say I don't want to do it, but I've seen these things go pear shaped all too often. Ok on to your questions, 1. Time frame. I would need to get the offending pieces down to me here and fit them to my spare car and see what we have to be able to give a realistic time frame. But ball parking it I would say one week to fit and modify the plug, one week to mould and then one week per pair of products. BUT! that depends on when this order is placed at the moment we have approx a 4 week lead time. So say you got things moving in the next couple of weeks, it would be one six weeks to have the moulds ready to produce parts and then products to follow on weekly intervals from there. That would be with deposit paid orders too, I've been stiffed too many times on things like this, so no deposit no order. Costs You would be looking at about $600.00/pr in fibreglass. That's a gelcoat finish ready to be given to a paint shop etc. For carbon you would b paying $1,200.00/pr. All our components are vacuum formed and resin infused. This allows us to maintain a extremely high level of quality and finish. We only use high quality resins as these are much more stable and of a higher structural grade. If you need more information regarding this process please let us know."
  23. Micah I will have a chat with Andrew at CCubed and see if he is interested His will fit perfect and will be able to make them out of true carbon as well.
  24. They did not happen. Slack body kit shop
  25. The Mad coating is a dipped painted system and then coated in 2 pac clear, so it will last as good as the paint job on your car. So it should/will not fade or peel. It is not a stick on film
