No it was like this when purchased. Supposedly it has been sitting for four years but did work prior to being parked up

I have just purchased an auto 180 with a CA18det. The car wont change past 2nd gear. The speedo doesn't work - Its sitting maxed out at all times (not on 0) Theres plenty of transmission oil. I've disconnected the Speed sensor on the auto gearbox and nothing has changed - does this mean its definitely the sensor? If so does anyone know where to purchase one? Nissan wants $350 and theres none in australia....
