Does anyone know if a insurance company has assessed a vehicle as "total loss" and then the car owner does not proceed with the claim and asks the insurance company to cancel the claim, then what happens. Is the vehicle still listed in the "written-off vehicle register" as a total loss or not. I would think that because the owner did not proceed with claim, thus the insurance company will not list it in the "written-off vehicle register". Please let me know if someone knows the answer to this question?
