  1. I’m having an issue with my R34. I left my headlights on and the car battery died. I went out to jump start the car and left my headlights on. It obviously didn’t start, so I turned my headlights off and started the car again. But now my headlights don’t seem to turn on at all, and only 1 of my high beams work. I checked all the fuses in the engine bay and they all are good. I thought maybe the bulbs somehow got blown but I checked for continuity and they seem okay. I next checked the wires connecting to the bulb for continuity and they seem fine too. I’m wondering if maybe I somehow fried the turning signal stalk by starting the car while the lights were still on. Any ideas of what might be happening? thanks in advance!
  2. No luck with the CLR. Any other ideas ?
  3. I’ll give CLR a try. Thanks!
  4. I imported a R34 recently that sat on a Nissan dealership lot for over a year. Because of this, my wheels started to rust and pick up all sorts of weathering on them. I’ve cleaned the wheels and done a vinegar and aluminum foil session on them to try to remove the rust but it seems like there may be an easier way. I thought maybe power washing them would help but I’m not sure if that may damage them. the rims I have are the stock GTTs for reference. Is there any other methods I can use to help remove the rust and gets these things back to normal? The front of the rims is generally ok, a little paint wear here and there and that’s it. I’ve attached a couple photos. The original condition and the cleaned up version. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Thanks for the help! I ended up removing the shelf! For anyone visiting this thread in the future, this is what I did. Remove rear seats Go into the trunk and find the clips at the top of the trunk that are holding the parcel shelf to it. There should be a few. My clips were blue if that helps at all Once that's done go into the back seat Push down in the area where the C-pillar piece meets the shelf. They should come apart and you should see a slit where the panel slides into the shelf Do the same on the other side Pull! The shelf should remove.
  6. I'm trying to remove my rear coilovers on my 2000 GT-V, but I'm having a bit of trouble. I currently have the rear seats out and I'm looking to get at the top bolts of my coils. Problem is I have the parcel shelf in the way, and I can't figure out how to get the C-pillar trim off before removing the parcel shelf. I've been doing some reading that says it'll just pop out if I pull on it. I've pulled on it, but it doesn't seem to budge. I also don't see how I can pull it off when the top seat belt is bolted over top of it. I guess I probably have to remove that. Is this really the right approach or am I missing something? I've attached some pictures of my current progress and which pieces I'm talking about. Thanks!
