Technically, the thing you're holding in your hand isn't the clockspring. It's the steering angle sensor for the HICAS. The clockspring is inside the column shroud - it's what handles the indicators.
That makes a lot of sense...
Just slapped the wheel on and sent it with a rattle gun and son of rajab and behold, it fits and the indicators cancel
Thanks so much for your help guys ☺️

No, no HICAS, I’m assuming that would be the difference?

Hello all :))
I have a S1 R33 GTS which Im in the process of getting the interior back to stock, so I’ve got a S1 (non-airbag steering wheel) and S1 clockspring..
Only issue is, the clockspring doesn’t fit in into my indicators but it fits the steering wheel..... is there a different clockspring I need or indicator unit thing ?
if someone could shed some light on this, that would be great, as it’s the only thing keeping me from getting a RWC and getting it on the road ❤️
Image attached shows that I have no slot for the clockspring to fit into, so hence my problem haha

For anyone wanting to know, the (25)GT sedan wing stands are a lot lower than the coupe wing stands, so if you’re looking to mount your wing lower, they work 👌🏼

So I traced it back and it was spliced to the handbrake sensor..

R33 S1 Auto
So I’ve had this car for some time, and I’m currently restoring it, and I’ve found a wire thats been (dodgily) connected to 2 other wires in the steering column those being a green + black and green + yellow wires. Which then runs underneath my centre console.
Does anyone know what this wire is connecting/connected to?
Any help is greatly appreciated :))

How about buying two fat mufflers and getting an exhaust shop to install them?
I don't recall seeing aftermarket for RB25DE, are they 2.5"? But yeah no muffler is awful. Hell even a standard/stock turbo cat back would be better, if it fits.
This was literally the only N/A exhaust I could find, besides the price what do you think? (They have this exhaust for a lot of models)

Cat back should fit but better off to keep it quiet
Thanks for your reply
keeping it quiet was the plan, it currently has no muffler and sounds aweful in the high rev range ?

So, I purchased a project R33 S1 Skyline, unfortunately it came with a RB20e... (would engine swap but I’m on my P’s )
I’ve been hunting for ages trying to find an exhaust but I have had no luck..
Does anyone know if I could bolt up a rb25de (aftermarket) catback to my rb20e and all fit up?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Some auto correct thing lol
Thought I’d also share my experience -
I tried to find alternatives to the oem sealer but had no luck, so I thought I’d try some rubber stripping, it worked! $10 Moroday rubber adhesive strips!
No more leaks, nothing! And it was super easy to apply and remove :))
