thanks for that guys.... any prices or brands that i should look for? and yea, its apparently snapped, u can slightly see into the "suspension coils (i dunno wat its called)" and u can acutaly see the shock in there...ill get pictures tomoro if theres enough light.

for the past few days ive heard like a cluncking sound every time i go over the slightest hump, decided to get it checked out buy a friend who is sorta a mechanic, and he said my right side shock absorber has snapped, and i need to replace it. my questions are: 1. if your gonna get one shock changed, is it better to get the rear pair done? 2. what shock absorbers should i be looking to buy and how much? its for a r32 gtst, its more of an everyday car, so i dont need it for drift or anything. and 3. can it do more serious damage if i continue to drive the car like this? been real busy latly n got no money, is it safer not to drive it? thanks for ur help.

with my r32 gtst 93', i have 2 minor problems... the first one is my front bumpr is coming off, its comin loose from the right side,the bumper itself where it attactches istelf to the car is starting to deteriate...and ive been told its cheaper to get a 2nd hand bumper, rather then get this part fixed, i also wanna get it changed, becasue the bumper is starting to crack along the center, because of the weight of the side bumper thats loose (its a bit confusing, but ill post pics if i can)also, its got many scratches, so might as well get it replaced....anyway, my question is, wat will b the best option to do? get a second hand one, or replace? if any1 has had any of thsi trouble b4? the next thing is...my drivers side power window isnt working, its only works very rarley, also on the passanger power window, it wont go down if the passanger tries to put down the window, but if u do it from the drivers side...the passanger window goes down as normal? do i need to get a new part orderd in to replace this, or could it possibly be just mixed up wiriring? and any idea on how much sumthing like this would cost would b greatly appriciated....ta sorry if im not making sense but i really need sleep, thanks again...

i use extra virgin olive oil..... lol,nah i use mobile 1 fully syn. it does the job and i think its around "$70 - $75" for a 5L bottle.

ive been quoted $80 for labour and $80 for a brand new cylinder. does this sound like a fair price...this is were i got my heavy duty put in.

hey...my clutch liqud is leaking, and ive spoking to one of my friends, and they've said it could possibly be from the clutch cylinder. ive notice a oil liquid on the clutch pedal itself, which i think has something to do with it... im not mechanically minded, so has any1 had probelsm with this, and if so, how much does it cost to repair, and is it a DIY job? thx

selling due to job & money. its a black r32, 93 model, 2 door, manual car is pretty much standard, just 3" exahust to turbo. lowerd turbo timer immaculate condition, inside n out,140k kms $13grand neg. from sydney. EDIT: sorry, pics arnt the best, they are small scale, and the car is wet. if u want better pics, leave e-mail and ill send.

a few days ago, was just driving my 93' r32, anywho..after givin it a small hit around a corner, i notice wenever i turn the left indicator on, its blinks rapildy. twice the speed of the right one,which i find a bit odd. has anyone had any problems like this before? or does any1 know wat the problem could be? any help would b appriciated, cheers

ok, well im ina bit of a sticky situation at the moment. my car was invloved ina accident a while ago when sum1 went up my ass. anywho, at the moment its at the panal beaters gettin repaired. the panal beater said to me, cause i know him.. that he'll respray my whole car for $1000. ok, so wat the problem is, im in between deciding wether i should sell my car or not. main reason why i wanna sell it, is cause its impratical, as its my everyday car. im too scared to take it places and leave it, and sleepin at my girlfriends scares me, cause i hate her area. also, i wanna save money. but i also wanna keep it because of the pure fact thats its a beautiful car. its a relitively stock r32 gtst,which i picked up for a good price. but im thinking, the paint is not too bad, its not like its full of scratches or anything...if i was 100% on keepin the car ill'd spray it, but if i was sellin it, i wouldnt bother, because i would think, that the 1000 i spend to get the car re-sprayed, i wouldnt get 1000 more in return when selling the car..if that makes sense. so yea, any advice would be great..im ina really bad situation, and not sure wat to do. plz help, cheers

yea i was wondering this too, ive heard something about it. i searched around the forum, couldnt really find anything. so any info would b great. isnt it just sum settings in the ecu?

sorry if this has been posted 100's of times, but i done a search, and didnt really come up for wat i was looking for. im not really much of a car buff, but my stock r32 is gettin a bit boring, and i wanna build up some power. only mods it has is a 3" to turbo,pod filter and a heavy duty clutch. first thing im plannin to do is put on a cooler, but after that, im not sure wats best, or in which order is best to peform these mods. so any help would be great, or even better, wat ill'd be expecting to pay for some of dese mods. ill'd be happy wif anything over 200rwkw, or possibly higher. thanks alot.

for ppl in sydney, were do u take ur car, to do most of ur mechanical work and workin wif turbo's etc. cause right now ive got nowere to take it, well no where were i tust.cause my first mechanic tried stealing my girlfriend off me, so i ****ed him off. and the second place i took it, done a bodgy job,had a scratch on the front bumper which apparently appeard from no where, and cant even do a simple job like changing the plugs properly, didnt gap them enough. so yea, ****ed them off too. so yea, any places in sydney where the mehcanic u trust and is good with cars, and is also reasonbly priced? thanks
