I know it is outdated and there are plenty better options but more expensive. I recently was offered a deal on one for 500$ US dollars. My question is is it still worth to buy or hold off and save for a Haltech etc... I have an RB25det r33. If I hold off and save for a more expensive one, it'll be about 6 months give or take. Opinions?

Thanks for the confirmation. So how about the differences? Is it fitment issue or just different styling between s1 and s2. Meaning if I get an s2 hood for my s1 car.
Nevermind. I found the answer.. thanks for the clarification.

95-98 gtr are the same
Full stop end of discussion

If a 95 will work, then why on eBay i always see 95-98? Did they change it in the middle of the year 95?

So I need a hood for my 93 r33 gtst. I've been reading in groups in fb about what fits and different answers came up upon reading. Some said a s1 and s2 hood are different near headlights. I know gtr are different also. Then some said all r33 gtst hood are the same. Can someone clarify this for me? I'm seeing that s1 hoods are hard to find and I see mostly 95'-98' for sale. If I buy one for my 93, what will it end up looking like? i don't know if this is the right section to ask this. Sorry there.

Nooooo! You mean investigate for himself? What is this witchcraft?
?I would but the community where I live strictly forbids any work on any cars or trucks. Security is always patrolling and will write a 300$ fine. I can take to a garage but they'd charge for it. That's why some of these questions may seem easy to anyone with space to work on their cars but it's the uptight community i live in. I apologize for these simple questions.?

can anyone tell me which is for my vehicle? The image without the flange is the one I ordered but the one pictured with the flange is from a 300zx tt. I was told by someone that the the one with the flange will fit also. Can someone shed some light on this for me? If both will fit, what is that flange for?

If the bore of the wheel is larger than the spigot on the hub, then yes, you need a ring. It's not completely easy to see what's going on there, but it looks like there's no gap.
When driving at higher speeds a feel a vibration through my steering wheel that I'm trying to eliminate. So far I've replace tires and control arms on all 4 sides. Now I have to replace the rear wheel bearing. I'm hoping that eliminates it. Afterwards I'll take her on highway to see if it dissappears. They just mentioned it at a garage about the ring and I wondered if that had to do with the driving. If you guys say there is no gap then I won't bother touching it.

They actually came with the car from Japan when I bought her. Does putting in a ring eliminate any vibrations at higher speeds? What does the ring do?

I’ve heard this before after hicas removal, check your bolts and what not make sure everything is right. drive it for a bit if you can’t stand It try a different alignment or find a gtr lol. Just kidding should be fine alignment may just not suit your driving style.
Ok. I do have a warranty on the alignment. If I were to take her back to redo the alignment, is there a rear setting I should be shooting for or just make sure she is in the green?

What is the rear toe after the alignment?
I really have no idea. I have a 6 month warranty in the alignment. If I were to take her back, is there a number I should be shooting for her? All I know is that it is in the green.

If it's all bolted up properly and the alignment is good, just keep driving it. You'll get used to the changes with more seat time.
Oh ok. My daily is an S2000 and it doesn't feel like that at all.

Hello everyone. So I installed my Hicas delete kit.(picture below). After install, i had my alignment done. The bushings are the ones I installed that came with it. Now when I drive and shifting through gears, i feel my rear end wanting to fish tail a little. Is this normal? I'm driving an r33 gtst. Just want to know so I don't take her back to garage to get them to look it over again.

The lower box even says ECR3 on the list of models that they fit.
Thanks. I wanted to make sure because they came from Japan and sending them back would be a pain.

Fronts look right, FWIW S14/15, R32/33/34 (GTS-t/GT-t), GC8 WRX Non-Brembo pads are all the same
Thanks.

Can anyone confirm if these will fit into stock gtst 1993 r33? I know I should pull the pads to see myself but my car is at a garage at the moment and I'll be driving this weekend to drop them off to get them installed along with other parts. Before I drive there, I'd like to know before hand. First picture is for the front and second is for the rear. Thank you.

Also, nearly every question over whether part X from an S1 will fit an S2 or vice versa has been asked a gazillion times. So you should be able to search up much information on nearly every such part.
I've been searching but like I answered the previous post, the Ebay seller said r33 was produced in 95 not 93. Here it's my vin#

Maybe.
You have a series 1. The "95-98" is series 2. Many parts fit both, some don't.
What parts do you need?
Tie rod ends for all 4 corners. I asked a guy on Ebay I'd they will fit a 93 because he listed them as 95-98. He replied that r33 were started year 95. If it's A 93 it can't be an r33?♂️.

Sorry if I sound dumb, but I've been reading on the r33 and buying parts I need for maintenance. I have a 93 r33 gtst. When I'm browsing around and looking for parts I notice some sellers will list parts as "95-98" r33. Being that I have 93, will those parts fit my model year or no? Sorry if this has been asked before but skylines are new to me and reading up on them are on a as I go basis. Thanks all.

I have broken 2 R34 fuel tanks. When getting a new price for one from Kudosmotorsports I was told that the part number for S15, R33, R34, GTR etc was all the same part number. Rffectively all the non-metal R32 plastic tanks were the same.
However I would definitely re-check that information before getting one shipped to the USA, because y'all get S14's over there and that MAY be the same part.
Thanks! I emailed kudosmotorsports and told then my situation, if they can confirm what I asked, I'll definitely grab an s14 or s15 fuel tank. That's probably my better shot at a replacement tank.

So I've had no luck in finding a fuel tank for my r33 gtst. BUT! I've read that the s14 and r33 share the same fuel tank. Can anyone confirm that this is true before buying an s14 fuel tank? The international shipping for a fuel tank from the uk to Florida usa is almost 800$!! So if I read the information is correct, an s14 will fit. Anyone can confirm this, if it fits, will there be any mods need to be done to make the tank fit? Like fuel pump, hoses, bolts e.t.c... I figure I can easily get an s14 fuel tank quicker and cheaper than an r33 fuel tank. Help please!

Thanks for the input all. I don't plan to track her or anything. Just a daily drive. I'm shooting towards 400hp or so. My tuner can work with an apex but he recommended the Haltech platinum pro as the power fc is outdated he said. If apex is fine then I'll shoot for it then.
