  1. Yep that's what i thought, thanks for clarifying!
  2. Appreciate the feedback guys. External vct oil feed it is then. In regards to the oil restrictor table, that would count as "leaving" the vct supply, correct? So i can follow it as recommend and block the front/ insert 1mm in rear?
  3. Hi guys In the process of putting together a 2530 and just trying to make sense of some of the info in the oil restriction table. I want to retain my VCT. I will be using an N1 oil pump and RB25DET head (circuit/drift application) so according to the table, ill be blocking off the front feed and inserting a 1mm restrictor in the rear feed in the rb30 block. My question is, what is it referring to when it states to leave the VVT supply? Theres obviously no provision for a restrictor in an RB30 block for oil supply to VCT so i was a bit confused. I still haven't decided whether i want to do an external oil feed to VCT or the brass plug mod on the front of the head. But once i chose, that'll be it to ensure function of my VCT aside from welding up the oil feed in the head, yea?
  4. Apologies for the delay, i've been mucking around with pins and settings all weekend and think i may have finally gotten the software to register a temp. reading. It seems as though it was a grounding issue, i couldnt get a reading from pin 26 so i moved it to pin 30 and pulled out which i think it was the ECT ground. However, without the ECT ground connected the software still managed to register a coolant temp reading which i thought was strange. What i'll do now is graft pin 26 to pin 30 or see if i can join the IAT ground wire to the ECT ground in the engine bay to prevent me hacking wires at the ecu connector. I wasn't aware adaptronic was bought out by haltech, ill keep this in mind for future inquires, thanks for the heads up and appreciate the help!
  5. Na fair call man, i agree. I also checked the delphi data sheet and with the resistance i got off the mulitmeter, atmospheric temp. should be between 10-15 degrees Celsius which checks out. I didn't use any wiring diagram as such, basically just the ECU pinout diagram that adaptronic supplied: They recommend pin 36 for the IAT input but ive got the FICD solenoid input there and i want to retain my aircon, so i asked them and they said i can use pin 37 as an IAT input instead. Id be asking them for help but they take 2 days to reply to each email and theres no number i can call.
  6. Just measured resistance...5260 ohms at the connection in the engine bay and 5260 ohms at the pins off the ecu plug. Does this sound right? I thought it was more an issue with how i'd configured the sensor in the software?
  7. I measured the voltage at the connection in the engine bay and with both wires coming off the sensor going to the afm signal and blue/white afm gnd wire, i got 0 V with ignition on but then i joined both afm grounds together to the ground wire on the sensor and it returned 4.3V...this made no difference to the temp. reading in the software though.
  8. Morning All Just wondering if i could get some assistance with getting my IAT sensor to work with my new adaptronic modular ECU (EMOD004). Its installed in an S2 R33 GTST RB25DET, fairly basic mods, top mount turbo and FFP etc etc Ive tapped the sensor into the existing wiring for the AFM signal and ground like everyone does but still cant get a temperature reading through the ECU. I've relocated pin 27 to pin 37 (as requested by adaptronic customer support) for the signal and kept the AFM GND wire in its original location (pin 26). Any advice would be great! Thanks!
  9. Hi all I have 2 fuel rails for sale. One to suit an R33 style intake manifold which is just a generic brand and the other to suit the R34 style intake manifold. Can sell them with or without the 1 set of injectors i have as shown in the generic brand fuel rail photo. LOCATED COBURG, VIC Plazmaman billet top feed fuel rail to suit Nissan Skyline R34 GTT RB25DET NEO ($220 ono) - anodized silver finish - can be set up for dual feed or single feed - comes with 6AN fittings -Will post at buyers expense Nissan skyline/stagea RB25DET/RB25 R33 C34 fuel rail generic brand ($100 ono) -Top feed billet fuel rail including genuine denso injectors. -single feed -threaded ends to fit whatever size AN fittings you like -Should suit all models with RB25 variants excluding NEO -Will post at buyers expense Genuine Denso injectors 3/4 length ($250 ono) -I think injectors are rated to 550-565cc but can't confirm (some idiot rubbed off half the part number) -Will post at buyers expense
  10. Yep, thats what i have 3/4 length bosch 1000cc's, that would definitely work too, either way, youve both helped me find a solution. cheers!
  11. Thanks mate! I've done a couple of practice days here and there but want to get more involved once the cars better suited. Ignore the hot side...still waiting on a turbo manifold from speedtec.
  12. G'day guys Hope everyone's well. Have been scouting this forum for a while as i've been building my 33 GTST. Its been a huge help during the process so thought i'd make the most of it and sign up. The cars pretty basic atm but looking at turning it into a competitive vic drift car...currently installing a plazmaman FFP , fuel rail to match and top mount hypergear ATR43SS2 all controlled by an adaptronic ECU. Looking at making somewhere between 330-350rwkw on corn juice. Nice to meet you all!
  13. I did think about that but just didnt know how much i could hog out before it affected the integrity of that water jacket it sits above of. It does foul a fair bit...but you know what, you just gave me an idea. The standard -6 fitting has a decent radius in the elbow so i think if used a -6 male to female swivel adapter instead that should solve my problem Thanks mate!
  14. Hi all In the middle of assembling a dual feel plazmaman fuel rail with 6AN fittings to a standard RB25DET lower manifold and the centre 90 deg. -6 fitting is fouling up against the manifold. Theres no issues when i fit the injectors and the spacers are all at equal heights (they didnt machine the slots on the mounting tabs big enough either but thats a separate issue) so i was just wondering how others have gotten around this? Yea, i could just plug up the centre port and run it as a single feed rail but was pretty keen on the dual setup.
