  2. There are enough of these around now to at least get a hub off and then consider if you put a new bearing in it.

From ebay - Wrecking a nissan skyline v35 350gt. 2003 model, front damage. Plenty of parts left. Email or call me on 0415494458 for availability and prices. This auction is for a light bulb for rear brake light. In Melbourne.

  3. A little more info from my experience. We have 2 remotes and the same thing was happening with both in very different situations consistently. Basically had to be right next to the drivers window for the remote to work. We changed batteries in both to no avail. It went on for anbout 6 months. Was getting close to the point of considering a BCM change! As mentioned previously, my daughter unlocked the car with the key and set the factory alarm off. It stopped and following this all was back to normal and has been since.

I have checked the US manuals and G35driver site and there is nothing about this type of instance. Manual only talks about setting hazard and horn reminder and auto locking function.

My wife will not let me play with "her car" to see if I can make it happen again!

  4. I had the same thing happen to me for a few months. In the end my daughter opened the car with the key and set the alarm off. After this it was back to normal. No idae how we set it up! Assume there is a security set up where it is less reactive.... Hope this helps. Chris might be able to add some light.

  5. I have a V35 with the VQ35DE, rear wheel drive, the wifes car.

The biggest issue you will have will be the electronics, these cars have a CAN communictation system which connects between all the different modules, engine control module, body control module, instrument cluster, ABS, traction control. At least it is a manual!

Can you go for a all alloy Nissan V8 with less technology?

  6. Can not help much with this, however P0720 - vehicle speed sensor (in the automatic transmission) may give a simple clue.

Don't suppose it has had a recent diff ratio change? could mean there is a difference between ABS sensor speed and the sensor in the gearbox.

Not sure it would cause the other fault codes and put it in limp mode though.

    Hope this helps.
