  1. The car had the cams when i brought it from Japan and i've had no reason to change them. I haven't tried the twins on my car but would expect heaps more response, especially down low. Peak power wise it would be down but should still be good for around 400rwkw. I'm basing this on a mates gtr with the same turbos but less suppporting mods.   3. The new motor was tuned at 430rwkw and when the new 1000cc injectors were installed it made 470rwkw.
  4. It might not be the AFMs themselves but a problem in the plug or wiring. I had similar problem when i first got my car and swapped my ARF with known working ones, but the problem was still there so i ruled them out. It turned out to be a problem in the wiring causing one ARF to intermittently drop in voltage, thus causing the stalling/rough running. I rewired both my AFM and have never had a problem since.

  6. Yeah it was, but that was with my old motor. I haven't run the car since the rebuild.
  7. It is normally dyno'd in 5th gear, but the other night it was done in 4th (still made 480rwkw on 20-21psi). + your car? Quick update: Just got 4 brand new tyres 255/40R17 (not yet fitted) and some new SARD 1000cc injectors. Injectors have been installed and the fuel maps were adjusted on the dyno. Since the injectors are no longer maxing out, i will increase the boost and get a full tune in the next week or so. Will post new dyno sheets when i get them.
  8. The gearbox has straight cut gears and was fitted in Japan. I was told by the supplier that it had done 1000kms when i purchased the car. Racepace Motorsport in Melbourne and X-Treme Motorsport in Townsville are the 2 workshops that have helped me build my car. Racepace built the new motor but was installed and tuned by X-Treme.
