  1. G'day again everyone. πŸ™‚ Are there any other PM35 RWD owners out there? I'd love to chat to you all. 😁 I believe only 1,675 PM35 were built so my fellow owners, we are in something of a rarity club. πŸ™‚ I'm loving my 350RX RWD I bought 12 months ago. She runs beautifully (never misses a beat). ☺️ The VQ35DE really is a gem on an engine as we all know. My only gripe with the drive is I would like a bit more torgue at the very bottom of the rev range as I've come from Turbo-Diesel land so I'm a bit spoilt! Most NA engines seem to be lacking torque once you have become used to a Turbo 'oiler'. The 35DE sure is smooth and sweet though and once she has some revs on board and/or with a healthy bootful of throttle, she picks up her skirts and HAULS ARSE!! 😊 I especially love the chassis balance. Since buying my Stage, I have had my mechanic fit a Synergy Motorsports Cruise Control kit (I'm a middle aged man so I love to cruise out on the open road.) My mechanic has also fitted V1-VA BC Racing Coilovers and Whiteline adjustable sway bars all round. My girl is now an inch lower, the BCs are in their mid damper setting and the swaybars are set at 'full-hard'. The turn in, chassis balance and cornering grip are very enjoyable. ☺️ As my PM35 is RWD, weight distribution is 51/49 front to rear. I always believed the chassis balance would make for a highly capable cross country tourer and that she is. ☺️ I thought long and hard about other wagon alternatives to a PM35, (Subaru Liberty Spec Bs and E61 BMW 530i wagons), but I think I've made the right choice! 😁 No horrendous BMW Oil/Coolant leaks or Subaru CV joint/blown head gasket dramas for me, thank you very much! 😁 I'd love to know what other PM35 owners think about their machines. Cheers everyone. 😁
  2. G'day Mr iamhe. Thank you for your post and the great information. I will check out Aliexpress and be sure to order a series 2 version as my PM35 is a March 06, Series 2.5 build. Thanks again for your advice. Cheers, Patrick. 😁 PS: I think I will go for this one. My Dash and leather are black so It should suit my interior well hopefully. It's noted as ; For Nissan SKYLINE Cv35 V35 2002-2007 Infiniti G35 Suede Leather Dashmat Dash Mat Cover Dashboard Pad Sunshade Carpet Accessory. What do you think? 😊
  3. G'day all. I'm loving my PM35 350RX RWD I bought 12 months ago. She runs beautifully (never misses a beat). ☺️ The VQ35DE really is a gem of an engine as we all know and the car is immensely practical, engaging/enjoyable and an overall great drive. 😊 My car does unfortunately, have the all too common cracked dash pad. Mine is particularly bad and looks terrible. I have to say though, if that is the only problem I have, I'll take it! I wanted to ask if anyone knows if there is aftermarket dash mat that fits to cover-up the eyesore? I have thought of the possiblity of adapting a V35 Skyline mat to fit? Failing the dash mat idea, another thought I had is to custom trim/fit black contact on the dash to try to cover it up. Any information, advice, thoughts etc, will be most appreciated. Cheers everyone. Patrick. PS: In reference to my previous posts, I had my mechanic fit an Autostrada E-Cruise Cruise control kit and it works very well. Also, the fuel filler flap does indeed, lock/unlock with the car.
  4. G'day Iain, Thank you for the great information. πŸ™‚ I have read of the throttle controllers so it's good to know they work well for cruise control. They are cheaper than the the kit I listed above too. Did you have someone fit yours or was it a DIY? Thanks also for the info on the fuel filler cap. I'm hoping the flap is locked with the vehicle as it's good to keep ones fuel supply secure; especially in this day and age! πŸ™„ Cheers mate! 😊
  5. PS: I obv stuffed up with topic above! Doh! I also wanted to ask if the fuel flap locks/unlocks with the vehicle As I'm due to collect my Stagea in 2-3 weeks post compliance. Cheers everyone
  6. Hi all! I'm Patrick. I'm an M35 350RX owner. I'm wanting to fit Cruise Control as I'm quite an 'old man' these days! I wanted to enquire as to whether anyone has had experience fitting/driving with this kit sold by Sinergy Motorsports; https://sinergymotorsports.com.au/product/cruise-control-nissan-skyline-v35/ Thanks everyone :)
