  1. After some testing with a multimeter, the alternator was dying and not charging the battery enough. The car would drop in revs and shudder when I put headlights and high beams on! So problem solved, cheers for the suggestions.
  2. Alright I checked ignition timing today, and it was accurate and good, however I unplugged the MAF and one of the pins was bent downwards, and when the car was running and I pushed the intake it would stall, so I’ve bent the pin back into place and that seems to have fixed the problem for now.
  3. My 99 r34 non-turbo auto stalled while waiting in traffic. The revs started fluctuating before it died and wouldn’t turn back on, I waited a moment and it struggled to start, dying again when it did. I disconnected the battery momentarily and connected again, revved high when I started the car again and it was running, but the revs were still up and down. My fuel was on the last quarter line, and I was on a slight slope, and when I was in traffic again 5 minutes later, the problem has disappeared. This happened yesterday and I’ve had no problems driving today. I’ve recently had timing belt and cam seals replaced. The car feels very sluggish and almost a chore to drive, compared to lower power autos that I’ve driven which feel quicker, I’d love to see if anyone has an idea on what could be the issue.
  4. Ok I’ve since replaced the oxygen sensor, installed a high flow cat. Fuel efficiency is much better but still somewhat inefficient, a full tank from a quarter above empty is around 40 (wasn’t filling up all the way last time) and I’m getting about 350km.
  5. Hi guys, this is my first post so hopefully I can find some answers. My automatic r34 gt25 is giving me terrible fuel economy and my petrol tank seems too small. A full tank from empty only takes 30L, and from what I’ve read a full tank should be from 50-65L. 25L got me 150km with regular driving. I don’t know what the problem is since I know the tank shouldn’t be that low, faulty gauge maybe?
