  2. well originally i braught it second hand just now i replaced with apparently better quality parts, so but diameter didnt increase
  3. this turbo didnt start as a t3/t4 i had one of those once and they were no good if we are thinking of the same one you are. this is a Rb25 front housing, with a T4 back housing which has been hi-flowed and comp cover made larger with stage 3 hiflow and all the rest done. so t3 front and t4 rear blades
  4. haha mate you are funny and i would explain it but since you have to be a smartass about it, well................... i wont! i dont classify those two you listed as modifications they are expected, iam sorry thats all you are running tho just to clarify it was tunned when the existing turbo obviously not running efficent was running 13psi and once rebuilt properly now with the same setting is now running 20psi although have tunned down to 18psi for everyday driving, my question was just wondering, is the reason the car is not leaning out because it is still extracting the same amount of fuel and air, the turbo is just running efficent now creating more boost??
  5. i had a t3/t4 hi flowed turbo on the car and was tuned at 13psi but i found that the turbo was no good then i had it rebuilt and on the same boost setting i am running 20psi but yet its not pinging is that due to the fact that it is still extracting the same amount of fuel and air just now its working efficently? i have all the supporting mods to run 20psi so that is not a problem! just wondering y its not pinging?

  7. standard rb20det turbo for sale 16v10 turbo been off the car for 6 months now when was on the car was a-ok no shaft play or if any a tiny bit which is perfect for its age. only problem with turbo is the o-ring for the oil seal is faulty but that is a easy $2 fix. turbo comes with standard dump pipe and 02 sensor as well. coolent lines can also be supplied but not oil line. contact 0401102093 located melbourne eastern suburbs $250 can not tell you the km's on the turbo as car reads 97k but turbo year doesnt match the car year so must have been replaced before in japan. (if that makes sense)
  8. after a tough choice i thuaght i have heard too many bad stories with the rx7 injectors so i got hks550cc ones(alot more pricey) instead lets hope all goes well. pppft i doubt it
  9. well my tuner is not recommeending these as too much mucking around, well a question for u all i have asked red drifter thanks for ur help but, my prob is at the moment car is so shitty off the line after remap i got a fmic,14psi( can xtract ne more with out fuel), hiflowed t3, xhaust,malpassi rising fuel reg, big fuel pump and all the other usualls, would i be better off getting a proper engine management or these injectors to cranck up the boost
  10. also some ppl say installing these injectors cause a ruff idle and throttle issue anyone think otherwise?
  11. i have been told by a performance place that when putting in rx7 550cc injectors i still require a resistor pack however i thaught that was only for low impedence injectors as rb20 is high, the rx7 ones are also high so will these fit in without to much hassle???? Secondly what is the correct part number? Last if i install them myself can i drive to a dyno(its pretty far though) i dont have a luxuary of a powerfc but i do have a remap ecu i just need to et tunned once are in? thankyou
  12. dont know either of the two wuestion i know duty cycle is getting high though as starting to get into a fuel cut now and then, had it on two dynos, made 170rwkw before z32 and remap made 180 after so i know its above the 150rwkw max figure though but dunno how much is left in the tank though, as for extracting fuel
  13. iam at 180rwkw at the moment using remap ecu (still not right) t3 high flowed fmic, fuel pump, rising rate fuel reg and all the other usuals, so mmmhhh neone else

  15. at wat rwkw do the standard rb20det injectors max out when also using a rising rate fuel reg? Also with the powerfc does this help fuel wise?
  16. mate intermittent misses always end up being coil packs you just got to get lucky and catch them! i had all 6 coils go 1 at a time

  18. installing my hi flow cat tomorrow on my r32 the standard cat has the exhaust temp sensor in it can i just chop it off and dont worry about putting it back in if peopel seriously know can they tell. thankyou

  20. wat does ur battery level indicate wen driving on the r32 mines is 13.7 lights on 14.1 lights off but wen starting takes a little to get the battery going, have been told alternator not charging right looking for second ones if anyone selling and in melbourne, unless anyone can advise otherwise. thankyou
