Hey guys and gals, just hoping someone can point me in the right direction of finding a chain kit for my 2002 vq25det nm35 stagea.
the vehicle did have what sounded like chain clack noises at throttle stab and round 1700 rpm on load,
went into lockdown here in new zealand and just decided to pull it apart as it has done around 240 thou ks and have read
that it is a common problem. Once i removed the front cover i did notice the main chain tensioner was all the way out so
i set the timing, removed the chain(s) and to find the chain kit i had been supplied was wrong.
now i am in the trouble of finding a chain kit without breaking the bank.
so yea fingers crossed i can get this sorted because this thing is such a joy to driver.
