I'm selling off my RB25DET S1 with Series 2 turbo, due to money requirements elsewhere... I only recently bought the motor and it's a shame to sell it off For Sale - RB25DET complete motor including engine loom and computer, manifolds, Series 2 turbo, stock dump pipe, alternator and power Steering pump. Everything is to go. Motor has done 101,XXXkm's and had the timing belt changed (gates racing timing belt fitted) aswell as the ideler pully and the water pump. NGK Iridiums spark plugs are installed. Series 2 Turbo is in excellent condishion with very close to NO shaft play. I'm also going to included an near new turbosmart BOV... Hey guys, Can anyone tell me what the problem with my RB20 gearbox is? The situation is as follows: At low RPM I can shift up through the gears without any real problems and when I’m going slow-ish with low RPM's I can downshift into 4th fine but into 3rd and especially 2nd I require a bit of extra force to actually go into gear. BUT, when going faster with higher RPM I'm really struggling to get into 3rd and finding it next to impossible to get 2nd... Any ideas about what the problem is? Trashed synchros??? maybe... Well I'm amazed that nothing realted to driving is on tonight... I'm very disappointed that i'm not able to get my door and bonnet painted this weekend, SO Instead who's keen for a drive tonight around 9:30ish? It will be a hills drive but nothing to insane.
