  1. @DaymoR32 yes that's true, Mercedes OEM parts would be more expensive however there are no aftermarket parts for Infiniti in Australia. Mercedes aftermarket parts are more available and they'll be cheaper than Infiniti OEM Parts.
  2. Hi All, I've got an Infiniti Q50 2.0T with the M274 engine from Mercedes. I need to change the timing chain kit and i was wondering if the same timing chain parts that are made for the Mercedes cars with the same engine would work in the Infiniti Q50, would there be any slight changes that they would have made or would it all be the same parts? Has anyone tried this before?
  3. I'm not sure if it needs to be paired with the BCM or not tbh, there's really no information online or a service manual that tells you what to do after replacing the module. I believe the resistors are correct, I bought them of ebay where the specific part number and system was mentioned and they came ready with the correct connector and everything. With the pedal dance, I'm not sure if that can even solve my problem as it requires the light to flash, mine doesn't do that, it just stays solid the whole time. I might look into getting that Nissan Datascan III software, see if it helps. Thanks mate.
  4. Hey everyone, I've read quite a few articles and forums about this if not all of them, however I couldn't find anything that could help me. for a bit of context, I've had an accident and my pedestrian hood pop up system activated. I have replaced the actuators with resistors and replaced the module itself with a second hand one. However I still have the light on the dash, I've tried the pedal dance and tried clearing fault codes with a cheap scanned but nothing has worked. the light on the dash is solid unlike other instances when it flashes. so my question is, what do I need to do now that I've replaced the actuators and the module, would the crash sensors store crash data and need replacement too? or do I need to find someone with a consult tool to reset the system? I don't think I can go to a dealer because I've replaced the actuators with resistors. I believe @The Max solved it by resetting the module's EEPROM, but I don't have any access to the equipment needed and don't really know anyone in Sydney that does that kind of service, anyone has an idea if someone like that exists?
