  1. The time has come to part ways with my R33 GTS-T Series 2

I purchased it back in 2005 and am the first Australian owner.

    REG: Aug 2011

    122,000KM

I have added a number of accessories to really make it stand out and it still turns heads. Mechanically the car has never given me any issues and runs very smooth. I have put on a Fujutsumbo exhaust, front mount intercooler and new yellow jacket coil packs.

Aesthetically i have added a dspeed front lip, veilside skirts and East bear rear pods. The rims are 18" GMAX (F:225/40 R:265/25)

The interior has also had been modernized with a JVC MP3/CD/DVD player and a 7" screen. Kenwood front and rear 6" speakers. The boot consists of a 12" Alpine amp and a 4Ch Cadance amp. In the cabin there is also x2 cobalt autometre gauges (Air/Fuel ratio and Boost) an Apexi RSM and G-Sensor as well as a genuine nismo lighter.

Other extras are a genuine Nissan rear strut bar, a Tommy Kiara front strut bar, a genuine nismo fuel cap, clear indicators, boost controller.

I have receipts for all the parts and will also include the factory intercooler, pod as well as some other parts.

I have serviced it every 5,000kms and only run it on bp 98RON. One of the cleanest and most reliable skylines you will come across.

Please note some photos do have my custom plate, which has since been removed and the new standard issue plates will be sold with the car

  2. afternoon guys,

gotta get a compliance done on the r33...apart from the fact i got checked less then 9months ago and was only 82DB i am getting done again but this time i have to head to hoppers or moorabbin

is it ok to have an apexi rsm connected? (and its below the dash lines sitting under the head unit )

  3. even so a full colour display on a 3 or 4" gprs screen is larger then most tacho's.

an the tacho isnt required to be looked at by the drive, where as the the gprs is required as its used to get to a destination, so the drive in most cases needs to look down at it

  4. how can tacho's on the a piller be illegal....yet thousands upon thousands have gprs units with a suction cap on the dash or stuck on the windscreen, what that doesnt effect vision? or doesn't cause a hazrd in an accident?

Also having a 4.5" gprs screen on the windscreen is fine, yet a tv mounted in place of a headunit is illegal to have when driving, whats the difference? you need to look at the gprs to get where your going? exactly!!!!

these laws are double standards !!!

  5. Yeap one of the r34's used in 2fast 2 furious is at universal studios, i was there 2months back to c it in the flesh, they also have the purple eclipse there and also the black dodge from part 1.

i asked a few guys when i was over in the states about r33 and none of them have seen them on the roads due to them not meetin complience over there due to some safety guideline.

at one point they did allow them into the usa but have since been stopped, so there would only be a handful of them over there.
