It does work, had the same problem with my 2 door a few years ago and the guys from Myaree Dyno Tune told me as a temp measure to do it generally last about a 3 to 4 weeks but hey beats misfiring.

Yeah, bascially the area around the coils packs , doesn't matter if you get some on them though but from memory you should be able to lift the cover up enough to spray without taking the cross pipe off.

I would think if it is occurring under acceleration then might be a coil pack on the way out. If they are goin to phuck up then it will be just after they have been move (plugs change). Spray some CRC or simular on the areas around your coil packs that will stop them arcing on the head and that should stop the misfire.
