  1. hi guys, i recently had a flat battery and when i tried to start it it turned over slowly but then my power fc when a bit funny. I replaced the battery and turn the ignition on and the power fc has now reset itself back to its stock map, WTF, anyway car starts but is very rough idle and pours heaps of black rich smoke, so i booked it into the tuner to get tuned..but i decided to change afm since the rb20 one was maxed out in the last tune, so i went with the q45 afm, its all wired up sweet done a sensor check on the power fc everything reads fine, but now the car just turns over and does not fire one bit, so i put the old afm back on and it still does the same thing, so i pressume its nothing to do with the afm's. I havent checked as of yet if i have spark or not, but does anyone else know what what i could check on why it isnt firing anymore. My 32 has:

    rb20det

    td06-20g

    gtr injectors

    power fc

    bosch fuel pump

    tomei cams

    nismo headgasket

    power fc boost kit

    hks front mount

I went to QR the other month, have stock 32 brakes with bendix ultimate pads, worked the shit outta the brakes, after 6 laps my pads were smoking and all whitish, i had no pedal left (was running new Castrol Super Response). Once i got home (with no brakes left) i pulled my pads out and ground them down on the concrete driveway to get the burnt layer off. Bled every caliper with new fluid...took it for a drive and still have no brakes...i think either the complete pad is just stuffed or i managed to pop some diaphrams in the brake booster?

  3. hey i get the same problem! i have an rb20 with a td06 and all the goodies, i run a apexi power fc boost kit, and i noticed that when on ful boost (which is only 14psi) the needle on the gauge flickers like crazy it is like a big blur it moves that fast? and i dont have a blow off valve at all! with all custom pipe work, i cant seem to find what it is.

  4. hey just wondering whats the biggest offset and wodth i could put under my 32 (with gaurd rolling) im looking at 18x9.5 and either +25 or +38 offset would either of these fit on my 32 allround without dramas? cheers if they wont what is the perfect size 18inch wheels i could put under them..i want them to fill gaurds perfectly.

Ok well i followed that D1NZ site i bought ONE .8mm diff shim, opened my diff up and slapped it in as per the D1NZ site...put it all back together and it was harder to put the center back into the housing, maybe cos the shim made the whole centre .8mm thicker, if you go any bigger you might have to take it to a diff lapper and get them to make sure the backlash is set right so you dont snap teeth of the pinion gear. But seriously the diff shim in my 32 only lasted like 2 weeks and now its back to the way it always was...i think the shim just wears out really fast cos the center isnt suppose to have that much tension. I read that there is another shim on the other side but i never seen that part, and everyone that has shimmed their diff only ever does the one side.
