Hey, Best of luck finding your car mate. Might be moving to SA soon...whats the deal--every page on the SA forum has two stolen cars listed. I mean when you guys meet up for a cruise do you end up comparing how many don't have cars anymore? I know lines get stolen alot, but this seems out of control.

Any opinions on which would make a better car for the odd track day? 32's seem cheaper for parts etc., but has anyone found they break alot simply due to age etc? If anyone's got some experience with track days on either model I'd be keen to hear. Like the idea of a 32, but the other option I'm looking at is a S2 R33.

Anyone know what the TH1 paint code is on a R32?

Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good place to get an alarm and immobiliser installed. Are any of the major shops like JB Hifi/Autobarn/Strathfield good, or would places like BDL in Braddon be a better go? Cheers

Cheers for your thoughts guys. I was pretty close to a deposit on Monday, but now thinking I'll wait a bit and see if the dealer will budge on price. I had another look at the car, and the windscreen seals are peeling back, and the rear wheels have a bit of outside wear (perhaps they are rotated from the front and it needs an alignment?), so I think I'd prefer the dealer to fix them in the price--I'd rather not buy a S2 and have to pay for other stuff before I think about wheels etc. Otherwise, I'm going to Melbourne next weekend so I'll have a look there.

Hey, I've been looking for a R33 and found one in Canberra that seems OK. Its a 96 GTST with 63 000kms, alarm, airpod, exhaust, & in exc. condition. The only negative is it seems a bit expensive-$22 800 w/ 12mnths rego, and after trading in my car-93 Laser w/190 000kms. Any ideas whether this is a resonable price from a dealer? Hey, I've been looking at R32s for a while and this one seems like good value-any opinions on the price/km's/condition or dealership? I was thinking about getting one mid-year but with the new import restrictions I'm guessing these are going to be alot harder to get at a dealership.
