  1. would international shipping be a big deal?....damn I want this...
  2. confirm that this is for an rb25?and if so; still for sale? thx
  3. Yes it is exactly the same unit externally. some diffs have a 4 bolt drive flange and some have a 5 bolt drive flange, see what your GTS-t driveshaft's bolt pattern is.. I believe the difference lies in non or twin turbo diffs and the ratio's also depends on non/t-turbo diff units. I thought the non turbo's ratio is more favourable.... hope this helps....
  4. ok I'm interested in how it goes, also just bought an rb26 head for cheap, complete, that's also an alternative to convert to solid and up the rpm lilmit to 8200.........
  5. well since I most likely have to replace them anyway and the tomei stuff will only cost me a few hundred bucks more, I'd rather go for the tomei stuff.(building the complete block for high boost anyway(pistons, rods, new bearings, upgraded oil/water pump etc) and with the tomei stuff it will also benefit from higher rpm limit and more lift) you were right about the cam base circle, tomei lists stock as 32mm and the solid conversion is 29mm..... anybody around here ever done this mod? thanks.....
  6. I meant the complete tomei package (lifters, shims, springs and cams) that should cover all tolerances; shouldn't it?
  7. thanks for the info, I'll go and try that first..... I got a quote for new ones and it amounts to a 1000 euro's which is approx 2000 aus$...then I'll rather convert to Tomei solids.....
  8. RB25DET, took them out today and some are compressible, some stuck, how should they behave? some orifices were blocked hope someone can help
  9. Greddy T78/T88 turbine flange and Garrett T4 turbine Flange?????
  10. thanks, read all 3 pages of data and comparisons and trying to make a solid decision based on my needs for the car...read that boost starts at approx 4000 rpm, which in my opinion could be realized earlier by a quick spooling BB turbo with a smaller turbine A/R. Can someone tell me if a greddy T78/T88 manifold flange is similar to a T4 garret flange? I believe so. So if I were to buy a trust T78 manifold for the Rb20DET and fit it to my RB25DET and add a T4 BB turbo with a turbine A/R size of around .70-.80 and a compressor big enough to realize 450-500 whp, would that work? .........................
  11. Hi My name is randall and I own a 1994 Skyline GTS-T (RB25DET) .I live in The Netherlands and there are less than 10 skylines in this country, thats why I'm reverting to Australian help.. I've pulled the car apart completely and going to have it painted and then rebuild it completely. Now I've come to my engine, disassembled it and building it again now, installing arias 87mm pistons, crower rods, new bearings, grex oil pump,N1 waterpump etc. Cilinder head will receive flowjob with greddy intake manifold tomei springs (want to up the rpm's) and in/ex cams 256in/264ex. Blitz front mount intercooler, nismo 740cc injectors, Z32 MAF, Apexi power FC. PWR Radiator.HKS full race exhaust, cat replaced by straight pipe. Now my question is; (and yes I've used search) for approx. 450-500 rwhp can I use the greddy TD06SH-25G 10cm full turbine kit? My demands are top mount manifold, not to laggy( want to drift) boost coming in at 3000..... but am afraid with an 8cm turbine housing the turbo will choke at higher rpms. I am a huge fan of the Greddy kit but want to hear first hand experience , since all the skylines over here are bone stock............... Thanks
