Hi eric. coz this time 20 dollars express fee is added in the price and for the h4 hi/low . sry gave the wrong price for a long time .the h4s are 100 dollars higher than normall ones the hi/low works with one bulb the bulb is driven by a small motor in the bottom of the bulb base. the motor drives the bulb moving up n down to switch hi and low beams.

Hi. 1, if u want white colour . just go 5000K or 6000K, or if a bit blue then go 8000k they will fit ur car for sure 2, Directly from factory, no need to pay for the marketing, advertising, stuff, and office renting fees for the companies. 3. nop. but projector lens is prefered but not must 4. they way much better. i already used to hid lights and now if i drive anyother car with out hid i feel the lights so weak.

for the colour pics . u can see this link http://www.yoshidashouten.com.au/HIDdescription.htm got compare with normal lights.. from phillips report 4200k's luminence is about 3000, 2500hrs 6000k's luminence is about 2500, 2000hrs the white halogens looks white. yes . if u put a hid besides it. u'll see the difference. also got golden colour bulbs for fog lamps . very nice pure golden colour. but don't think any usefull in au.. 3000k golden hid luminence 3000 good for bad weather , suit northern countries like us. but in good weather they are not as good as 4500-6000k because the low contrast. 4100k~4300k Whitish yellow luminence 3200 most oringinal car use this range as they equals the sun light in 2-5 pm 6000k white luminence is unknowen. looks nice in colour, but the brightness is not as good as low k s but no any problems in oz coz we don't have heavy fog or ...haha snow... higher than 6000k just for nice colour still much brighter than normal halogen but not that much and for the H4 hi/low. there are 3 types. 1. 2 bulbs. needs 4 ballasts and 4 bulbs for a pair of lights. but they cost too much and still can't be changed instantly. if u driving on the hill at 60km/hr and ur lights shut for 1 sec, u'll die. and also the two bulbs are not in the same line so the focusing of the lights won't be the same. 2, 1 bulb, use a small motor driving the bulb moving up n down. that's better 3 same thing just the motor drives the shield instead of the bulb it self. btw any thing more than 6000k won't be genuine phillips or Osram product.

Hi guys . for most of the questions . they'be been answered in my original thread in WA section. for the guys who ask is it able to get hid for which car. the answer is yes. as long as it is a car . i can get the bulbs for ya. for a decent installation of hid. u need a projector lens and selfwash system. that'll cost u heaps. but if u adjust well , they won't blind other cars.

I got the quote for the model only is about 85'000 aud. i think i gonna go another one and see any lower. ..
-
hehe , i know when people think about chinese stuff will link to cheap and crapy, i admit many chinese stuff are, but just because the quality control and the cost of making them. U pay for wat u get , if u would pay the same price as the japanese stuff . wat i can say is chinese can make even better ones with that price. but normally chinese stuff are much cheaper than others. so they have to control the cost too. what i'm doing is go to the factory which is making car plastic parts for nissan honda or something.. u know . china has space ship. the third one in the world. i think the quality won't be too bad though...

i went to just jap and paied 100 deposit borrowed a headlight. and i can make it gtst housing and gtr inside? or easier s2 looking?
-
Yes .i can do anyone only if i have sample . not only photo.. i just borrowed a normall r33 one .. but don't think i can get gtr one any where
-
But even the 2nd hand ones can be sold for 400 pair as i've sold mine for 300 or 350 a pair? if the same quality i mean .. can't compare with the accord or somthing ..i got mine audi one for less then 300 a pair brand new. but no one is making r33's ... really want to see if it's worth to do it . coz making a model is not cheap..
-
Hi guys, I contacted a headlight manufacture which can make new headlights assembly for us, just wondering how many people would like to have a new one and how much they would pay for a brand new ,clear one. also can make it chrome inside for s1 owners, and projectors won't be a problem too
-
all depends on how u adjust it. they are just globes, no different with the original bulbs in bmw or merz..just need better headlight assembly as i mentioned, i ordered a set of xenon projector lights from 99 audi a4 and that works perfect.
-
nah ,, the hids are just golbes and ballasts, the problem is at the headlight assembly,
-
each bulb will need a ballast to drive, so now i have like 6 balasts in my engine bay, the cost will be the same as buying a convertion kit
-
sry for the last question , yes u can , i got some now
-
maybe u hav'nt adjust ur headlight very well normally there will be 2 screws to adjust the hight and angle of ur head light, because acturally the light wave length are different from hid to halogen, so maybe the older car's headlight assembly is not designed for hid so the light won't be reflected to the same position as ur normall halogen, however i've got only once flashed by other ppl when i was on the ramp. so i think if u adjust the light well it won't be a big problem for the cars with original hids they have either projector lens or Hid complied headlight assembly
