I have always had pioneer and would never go for anything else. I get mine imported and that knocks their costs down dramatically.

[C210 Over heating and Fuel Problems]

I have done a search of the forum but nothing has come up on these issues.

(p.s correct me if i am wrong - i think it is a C210 :Oops: )

Over heating

For as long as i can remember my car over heats in summer. Like i cant take it threw drive thru or anything and i avoid traffic lights as at the stand still the temp just starts to creep up. I have had the radiatior checked about 10 times now and they cant find what is making it do it. But its encredably frustrating, so much i try not to drive it during the day in summer.

Fuel Problems

Well i think its fuel problems....As of late every now and then when i go to take off it seems as though i have left it in like 3rd or 5th - when its in 1st. It will chug and go to stall and sometimes not doing anything at all. I give her alittle bit more gas, but always my luck she takes off spinning wheels - just waiting to get pulled over by the cops... But i have a full tank of fuel, been running unleaded in her cause they arent selling leaded many places around here anymore. Using that Valve master stuff though.

Any advice on either would be great... I have a few other problems that would be great if i could get some help with as well too - but ill wait and see if anyone can help me with these first...

I agree with the whole concesus here... Women and 4wd dont mix... I got taken around a roundabout in my car by a Truckie who tried to do a runner from it. When i asked him if he saw me he said 'i saw the p plates and asumed you would have taken off'. I couldnt see around the freakin semi and it was peak hour traffic - so instead me and my poor ol' girl got dragged around in the tiny bit of space that was left in my lane...

Umm here is a few - she needs a wash and then ill get some better shots of her.

She is complete stock - been in our family since new - gets passed onto each generation. But for her age she is in pretty good nick...

Believe me ill be on here crying for help next time she decides to die in the middle of the intersection on me again...

Ummm as for the engine... my brother is a maunal mechanic and has been playing with the idea for awhile. As i share the car with my dad, he is financing the option, and he isnt thrilled with the idea of turbos... So im not sure beyond that at the moment.

Hey,

Im new to this forum and wondered if i could get some help with my car. I have a 78 2 door Skyline - im not too sure about anything about it.... how many ppl have this model cause i have only ever seen 1 other the same. I just want to know any specifics that i should know about it. Going through plans at the moment to drop a new motor in her, so any advice on that would be great.

Any help would be most appreciated....
