  1. "Interpretation" of hooning is definately a worry. It seems to me to be a sub section of dangerous driving, they have just enabled police to confiscate cars as punishment. Police have always been able to use the dangerous driving line to get people for taking off at lights too quickly. Don't know what my point is, only that I think it would have to be some pretty major offence for them to enact this new law, if you are going to be an idiot on the road, accept the consequences. I think most of us have more respect for our cars than to treat them like 'hoons' treat their cars. Good tyres are expensive, as are replacement turbos, engines... And lives are priceless. If you want to hoon, go to a race track.
  2. Contact DRIFTT if you need anything for the Stagea and he will put you in contact with the guys in Japan and help you get it direct from Japan. He also finds the type of kit and Graham at www.japanparts.com tracks it down.
  3. Evening all. I have not been around for a long time, I was worried I may not be able to log in! So many new people, the site looks very different. I took some time out when I found out I was quite ill. There was a possibility I might not have made it, but I am OK now. Family tends to take priority in your mind in that situation, and my car and social life took a back seat. Anyway, I am back, I am hoping to get involved with all of you again. I miss you guys! No changes with me or my car, still married, my son is now 6. Hope this new thred does not break any rules. I need to take some time to get up to speed with the new format, and the new members.
  4. Well bedtime for me, medication is kicking in, that double dose of cough medicine was not a good idea.
  5. Gee Dan, don't know what came before, but ummmm...Thanks for the info.
  6. Thanks Liz, but it is all a matter of time, I just don't have it. I may have to enrole again next year. They should give me recognition of prior learning far all of the units except Access, so it will only be 10 weeks or so.
  7. Evening Liz! hope you are well. Update on my situation: Back with husband, taking things slowly. He said I am allowed to be involved with the Skyline club, and I am allowed to go on cruises, as long as I don't take time off work.
  8. I love powerpoint, but as well as that I have 4 weeks to learn Access, otherwise I will not get my IT certificate. Just can't see that I will have the time.
  9. Yeh Dan, in class step by step they are all easy, but when I get home and try using the programs, they are all different. Tried blaming programs, tried blaming my computer, have now realised I just may be doing something very wrong!
  10. Will get a good picture of my car to put on instead. I am renowned for bad photography, and have not got a decent picture of my car yet.
  11. I know I asked before, but then I went offline before I got the answer, but why has my generic skyline picture gone from all of my posts?
  12. will buy powerpoint for dummies book.
  13. Evening. Just came on to say hello. I am ill and should be doing my powerpoint class now. It is a shame, it is a fun program and I really can't afford to miss a class.
  14. I like the events section! I only wish people would date the titles; 'This Saturday' Not helpful when you don't get on the net much and don't have time to read a long thread.
