i'm keen tell me when it's up

Or you could just buy a jzx100 chaser like yours truly.
there was/is a IS200 with a 2jz for sale is OZ too.
-
OK so JZX100 1jz have a Hot wire AFM. so the Z32 or Q45 one will work fine, just need to work out which wires do what on the 1JZ AFM
-
that's why i wanna know if there is a option on the PFC like for the RB's to change from stock AFM to Z32 AFM
-
i was just reading that the 1Uz AFM in a Karman style, whereas nissan ones are hot wire type.
What are the 1jz ones. coz if they are karman style aswell then the q45 one won't work coz it sends a different signal wave.
-
do they have any option for a bigger AFM on the power Fc
-
how big is the one for the 1UZ, (does it have one).
I am buying my 97 model at the end of the year, just gotta save up a few more $$$'s, no debt for me.
What are you guys doing with your CHASERS, fast family 4 door, or are some of u going to do a bit of circuit and drift work????
-
I found these at HKS. looks like the 2835 proS will defininetly do the job, might need to get the bigger A/R (0.68 - 0.86) though as it has already reached its rated power (420ps) at 1.2bar.
Get a look at that torque, ahh i think i will be very happy when i get my chaser.
looks like it is better than the neo6 everywhere except peak power and torque.

is the stock one the same as on the TRAUM chaser. cos that is the better looking one.
At auctions the abbrev. F5 and MT5 the same ie
F5= Floor 5 speed
MT5= Manual trans 5 speed
FA= Floor Auto
FAT= Floor auto tiptronic

Ahhh the light, it burns it burns

Also, if you get a car from a big city with low genuine km, then you can be pretty sure it's been sitting in traffic for the majority of them. I'd rather a higher number, but have a car that had been a highway cruiser most of its life.
btw I'd be pretty happy with a measly 270rwkw from a GT-RS
yeah true i would much rather higway k's too.
yeah 270rwkw at 1.5bar :Bang: . plus that they make the 2835 proS for the JZX100. the GTRS is not, but i'm sure it would still fit but. neah

i was going to buy a VIP celsior so i found out all the VIP body kit makers
DIANNA
$700 bucks by the time you get it to oz, here are a few links to sites i found.
Tom's chaser, many suspension parts
AMUSE's race JZX100
最高出力 478ps / 6260 rpm
最大トルク 57.8kg/m / 4545rpm
HKS 2837R
BOOST 1.4kg/・
実測車重 1265kg
AMUSE's street JZX100 :aroused:
最高出力 386 ps / 6570rpm
最大トルク 53.3kg/m / 4560rpm
BOOST 1.2キロ HKS 2835 pro S
実測車重 1451kg

there are actually 6 places to get jzx100's complied, according to dotars website
DOJOBI: japs usually do less K's coz they use trains ect, for big trips. unless they play golf then that is where the higher (normal) km's come from
i would say your 99 model with 73K would be correct.
Anyone else wanna VIP stylee ducktail rear wing
There is a fair bit of stuff avail. for JZX100, incl. specialty stuff from do-luck and other well known companies.
DOJOBI: the hks 2835 is a bolt on turbo for the chaser, the gtrs would give you no lag but only 270rwkw MAX. here are some specs i found
Nissan RB26DETT 2568cc (2.6) 321hp @ 8000rpm 293lb-ft @ 4400rpm Skyline GT-R
Toyota 1JZGTE VVTi 2491cc (2.5) 290hp @ 6200rpm 278lb-ft @ 2400rpm Soarer 2.5GT-T
Toyota 2JZGTE VVTi 2997cc (3.0) 340hp @ 5600rpm 333lb-ft @ 3600rpm Supra RZ

i was just looking and they had a 97 auto 50K KM for $18,500 landed.
and a 97 manual 95K KM for $17,900 landed
so yeah it seems that high Km manual the same price as mid-low km auto's.
I already know what i am getting, HKS2835 proS and all the associated stuff PFC incl..
DOJOBI: I was hoping to get 270rwkw at 1-1.1Bar and 300rwkw+ at 1.5bar. but i think i have heard that the 1jz's don't really like much above 1 Bar but i'm not 100% sure.
-
yeah they are not like over the top altezza style, they are just clean plain clear lights.
Looking on imports101, cost of a 97 manual <80K KM would cost 20-28K odd landed in oz then after compliance and rego would be roughly 30-35K.
Is that about right to you guys that have bought one.
-
I am looking into buying a 97 chaser, due to the fact that i want a manual. there are usually only about 2 or 3 manuals at auctions so colour is not a option, they are usually white or dark green. who did you guys import through, i was looking on j-spec.
i can see myself spending many dollars on TRAUM parts, those gattling gun h/lights, crystal tail lights and indicators, lip spoilers to say the least. They also have the only tube manifold i have seen so far and front pipe. I was going to respray the car black, but the traum gold is really growing on me

Silver_R33: how much did u pay for your Jzx100? manual?
i want a manual, you can get the single turbo version too can't you
-
Ok what about 4 door versions
R34 GTT 4 door
vs
JZX100 chaser mkII
I still can't decide.
-
i'm loving that 300bhp ariel atom, makes me think about one of them over a 34 gtr.
would cost the same after mods to the gtr
-
Mercedes Benz CLK GTR
Koenig F50
Mclaren F1 (cool driving postion)
Lotec C1000 (TT 5.5L V8. 633Kw. 374km/h. 0-100 in 3.2) rumoured faster version TT V12 did 0-100 in 2.8

some of u guys except 2GUP need to brighten your interior up a wee bit
stroking the rb20det, pros/cons?

or you could just put the 20 head on a 25 block, i have put the 25 headgasket on the 20 head and everything lines up except a few water and oil holes which need to be made a bit bigger, other than that all the head bolts ect line up perfectly.
even better buy a RB25 Na from a R32, use the 25 bottom end with the 20 head. and the 25 head with a 30 bottom end. then u can choose which one u want
