  1. Called a G-Tech Pro

    Found here http://www.gtechpro.com/

ok going back awhile ago one my mates had this thing that looked like a gps (stuck on the window of your car and pluged in too your ciga lighter) and it gave you rought 1/4 mile times and 0 - 100 kms and a few other things , they where not 100% but close enough.

my question is WTF is it called i cant think of the name of it and where can you buy them?

    thanks

  2. Howdy,

I ordered these under the assumption my current pads were screwed (which they aren't) so, need to sell these...

They're B-Spec pads with operating temps 0-500 degrees (non asbestos)

    Project Mu Part code

    Front F206

Rear R906 (when you look at the Project mu website it lists R206 and R906 as the same rear pads that come in an STI)

I paid $500 for the set last week... So $450ono ...

  3. Yup, if it's like a high pitched "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" noise... check the seal of the bov to the pipe... happened to one of my old WRXs just put some exhaust cement (like gasket goo) to make a tight seal.

After cleaning my blow off valves, taking them apart, oiling the pistons and putting it back together again, they now scream.... I also loosened the spring tension slightly because I was getting minor flutterdump.

    Scenarios:

    Doesn't scream from -7 psi - 0psi.

Starts to scream > 0psi and gets louder to around 6 psi.

    Goes away from 7-14psi.

    BOVs are blitz DDs.

    Anyone have any ideas why?

I took them apart and retigthtened them again but the problem didnt go away.

I'm thinking of putting some gasket sealer in between the gaskets, assuming it's a leak in the gaskets.

  4. Hi Grant,

There will still be plenty of spots available on the day, half have been paid for as of today. It kicks off at 9am so maybe try to get here about that time? First in, best dressed for a spot...

    :P

    Hey mate...

PAID - Just Tranferred the $60...

    Cheers

  5. If there's still spots...

I'll be coming from East Ballina so a fair hike, but at this point, uncertain about confirming, so if I turn up, hopefully there'll be a spot and I can run my R33 GTR...

    Cheers,

    Grant

  7. Hi All...

The only way to make your car faster is to sell it and buy a faster one!

With Aston Martin DB9 beating action... Do you really need to spend $400K on a car??

I have my daily driver 1995 R33 GTR V-Spec that I purchased from Autostyle Performance Cars for sale (tuned by Croydon)

Just went 110,000kms due to a few trips between Gold Coast and Canberra. Which I might add, it had no problems maintaining speed, over taking speed and temps were all under control... on the highway getting about 400kms to a tank!

    Rego until July 2010.

    Some of the mods;

    HKS GT-SS turbos

    100,000km kit completed

    SARD FPR and 720cc Injectors

    HKS Cam gears

    Drag Spec Intercooler

    Oil Cooler and Reloc Kit

Trust dump pipes and 4 inch system hi flow cat and extra with Magnaflow muffler

Apexi Induction kit - boxed (legal)

    Thick Radiator

Blitz Dual SBC II - 4 settings, standard through to 1.4bar

Apexi Power FC with hand controller

OS Giken Twin Plate clutch and flywheel

Tein Coil overs with EDFC - legal ride height

    Everything under neath is adjustable!!

    Endless CCR pads

    B-Pillar Brace

    HICAS lock bar

NISMO strut bars front and rear

17x9inch BBS 3 piece wheels (255s all round)

    Nismo Clear side indicators

    Philips HIDs

Original Interior with GTR mats (I'll throw in the Ambi Pur for free)

Full Sound System (deck, splits (F), rears, bridged amp and 12in sub)

    Legal Window Tint

Basically I went on to Nengun and couldn't find anything I could upgrade... that's what kind of complete package this is!!

Only pulled over once and bonnet was popped to reveal a stock looking engine bay, and never been defected!!

This is the second car I've purchased through Autostyle. Took me a long time to find this car and I have treated it like a baby (sometimes needs a spanking though lol) - I've enjoy it while it lasts and honestly if surfboards could fit on it... then I wouldn't be selling, but I've changed jobs, moved to the coast and things change.

LOCATION: Northern Rivers (approx 8 hours north from Sydney and 3 hours south of Brisbane)

    CASH SALE: $33,000 neg

No monies owing on the car. Just a perfect example.

  8. With silencers and the Mine's Chip (which IS a less than perfect tune - understatement)... it's only making 200rwKW but over 550Nm or torque... on wastegate actuated 14.5psi (1 bar).

Is pretty fun... It's power curve and power figures would be different if it had the stocker diff in it!!

  9. Forgot to add... Car also has:

    - Pioneer CD/MP3 player

    - JBL 4x6 on stock location with Pioneer Tweeter

    - Pioneer 6inch Speakers in Stock location.

    - All wiring for Amp and Sub is in place courtesy of Cadence 4 gauge.

    - "Personal" Steering Wheel with D1 Style removable boss kit

    -4 New Falken Tyres

** Will also include 4x 16inch drift rims and tyres

  10. Hello,

I bought this car from Autostyle over a year and a half ago, and have had NO Problems with the car... This car is Fully Engineered! So, no problems with the police! It is modified with the following:

    - RB20DET With a Stroker kit to 2.4ltrs

    - IHI RHC-6 turbo, rated at 500HP

    - TRUST External Wastegate (plumped back for engineering, but have VTA pipe :D)

    - GTR Injectors

    - GTR Fuel Pump

    - Cusco Coil Overs on the front with Adjustable tops

    - Tein Coil Overs on the Rear

    - Fully Adjustable Suspension

    - E-Boost 2

    - Mine's Tuned ROM

    - Mechanical Autometer Gauges (Water temp, oil pressure, oil temp)

    - GK Tech FMIC

    - 2 Way LSD

    - Reinhard Dual Tip Exhaust

    - HKS Pod filter in box with stainless steel intake pipe

    - 5 Speed Manual with Button Clutch (unknown brand)

    - All windows tinted

    - Starcorp 17inch Rims

    - Chassis has just hit 100,000kms but the engine has been rebuilt, so you should be fine for another 30,000kms until the timing belt would need to be done! (I would imagine).

    - Always run, since I've owned it, with Motul Synthetic Oil. Oil and Filter change every 5,000kms. And run on Optimax.

I may have forgotten some things, but it's a weapon on the street, on the track, for time attack or drifting... Awesome all round car!

Autostyle looked after me on this one, and it won't disappoint!!

PRICE: $15,500 is worth a lot more, but need to sell!!

REGO: 12 months (Just been renewed)

  11. Increase response... BY how much?... Noticable...? Unlikely... Costly...? Um yeah...

Waste of time man IMO... (been said before, but will say it again)... the hot air runs through the rad from outside... mmm not the best idea for intercoolers, last time I checked... and what about the heat from the engine bay, and your intercooler sitting in there and cooking??

V-Mount is a different story, but the bonnet is usually opened up, like on Pink Bits (Denzo's drift car). Just remember, the air needs to go somewhere...
