Hi Guys Up for sale here we have a Garret T04 turbo with vg30det ex housing which bolts into the factory position with minor mods such as the inlet elbow and the oil and water lines may need modifying. Internally gated with a 1 bar actuator. The turbo will need a rebuild as the blades are scraping the housing. The turbo seized on me a few months back. This was caused by some foreign object found stuck in the ex wheel when i pulled the turbo off. Made really nice power... Close to 250rwkw on around 14psi. Came on REALLY hard at 4000rpm on a rb25det. Was bought last year from turbo technics for $1500. Offers around $600 please!!

I might not be able to make it fellas... my turbo has just buggered itself.. im in the process of getting a standard turbo on there asap so hopefully i can meet the deadline and go on this cruise! Wish me luck! haha

Hey all As some of you might know.. Im the new, proud owner of Lintons Burgandy R33 GTST. I absolutley love this car and will be keeping it for a LOOONG time. Sadly though.. the other day while driving I noticed it wouldnt hit boost and made a screaching, siren kinda sound. Later that night it made other kinds of sounds like rattling and WOOOOing. I took it to a mate who is a mechanic and while the compressor blades look find and there is minimal shaft play, he believes the exhaust wheel is shagged. The shaft was rather tight which also didnt sound like good news. The turbo is a T04 with a VG30 exhaust housing. Now im up for a new turbo or a rebuild. Can anyone give me some advice on a new turbo or how much it would cost to get this one back up and running again?? Thanks everyone!! All help will be very appreciated!! Regards Mitchell

1 bar but it spiked to around 1.2 bar sometimes

I have no idea! It was boosting fine until I went to make boost again and BABOW! no boost and a siren kinda noise from the turbo The turbo is a T04 with vg30 exhaust housing.. I have been told the vg30 turbos fail all the time. When I pulled off the intake the compressor was fine which means the exhaust wheel must be rooted.
