say if ur head only flows 500cfm, and tune the boost for this 500cfm, and then decide u want more power so u mind in more boost, create an effective 550cfm, the motors going to be working alot harder to get that extra 50cfm through cmopared to a head that can flow 600cfm, and will create more heat etc etc. i'll paste the PM SK sent me regarding these issues:

from my research, boost is just a restriction, and the more u feed in the more restriciton u have, match the right head, cams and pipework to the turbo's, and u wont have to wind in as much boost, for example sydneykid has a car down nsw that makes over 800bhp with GTRS on 1.5bar

on ~20psi yes, it'll piss it in on a side note, dirtgarage is building his new motor with GTRS strapped to the side, will be interesting to compare his dyno graph to mine

no reason those turbs wont make 780bhp+ with the right setup (they are the turbs im using)
