you'll find as soon as u add an external pump that feeds from the surge tank to ur fuel rail, the intank pump will be able to flow more, as it isnt under as much pressure. i.e all it needs to do is fill ur surge tank. for ease, i'd leave the 040 intank and get an 044 external with ur surge tank
