it could easily have been resprayed at some point in time. like mine, the engine bay was very clean, yet 2 weeks after i got it home it spun a big end. now its coping a 26/30

hrmm interesting I'm not going to speculate, best off having a chat to daniel to see what the G.O is. I'm just really disappointed because the engine's been built for 7 weeks now and the sump is all that is left to do.

thing is, i NEED the engine back in in 2 weeks, caus it's entered in autosalon do u know if he's got it fixed now? and if so what he did but im sure daniel will be able to help me out though

a 32 gtr with hi k's will be in need of a rebuild in a short amount of time...they are well known to spin big end bearings, and as bob said, have 6k spare to fix it up

nope, sump adapter plate dont line up

hiya guys and girls how pissed off am i now. just finished grinding the block so the sump studs would fit, and i went to trial fit the sump and guess what THE FARKING ADAPTER PLATE IS OUT ON 2 HOLES so now a completely new plate needs to be made up, and this time hopefully, they'll be in the right place!
