Guys the mechanic said the at the peak power (Power rais) i had wheel spin. he usually use the 4th gear to test the max power. I am very happy with it. and im ganna boost the car up to maximum 20 psi just for a try at the Eastern creeck .. results later.. --- Babak ---

OK GUYS GUYS.... 288.6 rwhp = aprox 215.37 rwkw, i can boost it up to 20 psi i know its not ganna hurt BUT, how long for??? I THINK i can make arout 300-320 rwhp = 224-238 rwkw i know i got that much so there is no need to use it now... but ill do it one day and LET YOU ALLLL KNOW To whome asked me some questions.. I have got an EMS stinger3 ecu and 550 cc injectors. i have got no afm rbs13 dont forget he has an RB25DET engine and i have RB20DET... And hopefully in the futur i will drop an RB25DET with the same turbo setup and set on forgies and cranks and all that co then Im ganna have a 10 seconds Street machine My turbo its a bit laggy boost kicks in at 4800 RPM but once its in wont drop bellow 5000 RPM which is awsome

-- ROY -- Thanks for that. turbo has .70 A/R intake as you know and i chose .63 A/R exhaust. and for the oil cooler thet would be the better or best place coz of running the FMIC pipes. -- RBsileighty -- thanks pal, the full boost for the 10 psi would be 4400 RPM which there is a bit of lag but as soon as i get the boost it i wont loos it. so the tacho will be running up and down between 5000 and 7800 RPM. the same as the 17 psi but with this psi dude it rocks but i just have to concentrate on the tacho so i wont redline too much. Guys i think with 20 PSI i would've made 320rwhp so i dont want to put too much pressor on the engine until i get my internals done. The next upgrade would be dropping an RB25 block in there with forgies and crank shaft etc etc.. but not yet.. im happy wioth this atm. Ok guys... After a Looonng wait, i just picked my car up.. ok the result is @ 10 PSI i made 240rwhp and @17psi i made a save 288.4rwhp @ 6400 RPM. its good coz i told him i want a safe boost and power so i wont blow anything... The boost kicks in @4100 RPM and the car SCREEEEMS the car rusns very smooh now and drives very nicely... Ill post some pics soon coz im waiting to upload the pix to my website and you can see it all from the biggining to the end.. Anyways sorry for the WAIITT and thanks again for the follow up. Thanks guys... unfortunatally the car car wasnt ready yet... he was doing the boost controler hole on the turbo and the wastegate, the dump pipe, intercooler pipes, so hopefully by tomorrow he'll finish everything and start tuning it... and i should have the car by saturday. -- RBsileighty -- thanks for your interest in this thread. i cannot wait for the reasault either. -- Roy -- im using the stinger 3 type of EMS. i've got some photoes and ill take some tommorrow, but i dont have a webspace to dump and link them to this site uhh well ... HELLO everyone... Sorry for the (Bloody) delay... Latest news .. the car is almost there.. The manifold is done, wastegate and turbo is on.. injectors , cooler and all that are one.. just waiting for the oil line and compeleting the dump pipe.. and finally the tunning of it.. Im really sorry for the LLOOONNGGG delay which im bit pissed off too.. yhh well it happens he is too busy. - ROY - Im running EMS + bosch 600hp fuel pump. Coz vince only install that brand. - RS500 - Things are going pretty good so far. there was a problem with the manifold which he had to cut the flang and re-do it . that was yesterday.. but im looking forward to it.. Guys HOPEFULY "Tommorrow" i'll get the car.. --WITH GOD WILLING-- OK guys so ill let you all know after such a long wait... one more thing i was ganna say was, i dont think if im ganna do my internals, why? coz dont forget that it still is a RB20, so may be next step for me would be RB25 or 26 + forgies + my turbo setup = low 11s. How does that sound? its true that the turbo might be a bit small but by then ill think about it... may be a big ass T51R SPL $$$ or TRUST TD06 or 7.. GOD knows better Any ways.. RBSileighty - ATM i got the standard 272cc injectors, my mech. said that hes ganna power run it first to see if i need the injectors if so ill upgrade them to 600cc ones. I cant wait myself either to see the resault.. im ganna go and have a look at the car tomorrow to see how far he went. his 1 of the best mechanics around. Cheers guys --- Babak ---

Mymechanic said : dont forget that u got stock internalls so dont exept big powrer , and i asked him how much u rekon? he said maybe 300 rwhp.. hes ganna set the boos to 16 to 18 psi and i think that would be enough for me for now till i get my internalls done or i swap the engine to RB25-26 and then i can talk about big power.. hehehe So stay Tune... Hello guys, Wat u rekon my boost kicks in with the .63 A/R housing? and wen do i have my full boost and how far should i boost it up with my stock internals? and how much power ill be looking for.. My mechanic said that after the turbo instalation he will power run it to see if i need bigger injectors or not if so ill put in the 600cc ones anyways im dropping my car of on thursday and get it back in couple of days.. Hello guys.. I just Got my Turbo package wcich is GT3040 with .63 exhaust housing, Tial 38mm wastegate and i also got an apointment with my mech. for the next thursday and he said after installation we power run it to see if i need to upgrade my Injectors and if so he will get me 600ccs (God help me with my fuel cunsumption ). so fingers crossed. Yeah about the Manifold i talked to my mechanic and hes ganna make one for me You might know him Vince Rigoli... and im getting the FMIC and oil lines at the same time and I might get Injectors done aswell (600cc) as he recomended.... and then fingers crossed for the dyno day..
