If i was to do the same modifications on my standard turbo, would i get the same amount of power as doing the same thing to a vg30 turbo? considering that the vg30 has a 42mm exhaust turbine and the standard skyline turbo has a 47mm.

I'm just curious thats all and i didnt fully understand the exact procedure thats all. Cause i just bought a vg30 bb turbo recently so i could do these mods on it, and i was advised by garrett not to pull the turbo apart cause i might brake the exhaust turbine etc etc..

when you bore the snout does the exhaust turbine have any shaft play?
