I wouldn't say that, but I don't honestly know how it would go. Am negotiable on price however wogs as it needs to go. As stated, externally gate it though. Would have to guess that it would run 20psi easily daily. Not sure how much it would flow as in what power you could get out of it, but a stab in the dark is it would perform better on a better flowing motor than the dirty old rb30e It won't be as responsive as a t3/t4 but it will generate plenty more power for that I am sure.

this turbo made 170rwkw on 7.5 psi on my rb30 - I need it gone as I have all but purchased it's replacement.

I imagine it will fit a 33, fits the t3 flange and can be turned around. I don't know the exact secs but it definitely has a steel wheel rear and has hit 1.5 bar in my car (to my discust when the actuator was stuffed - replaced now of course) So it will handle alot of boost, has a little play in it, doesn't blow smoke but the wheels I can't actually say the size? Pics are only so much help I realise.

For sale: 610 x 300 x 76mm polished same sided cooler. Only reason I didn't use it was because I couldn't cut holes in my 1 of 7 ever made Tas Police GTS2's. $200 ono SOLD Aluminium Cooler Piping Kit. Because my job was a weekend job and I didn't have access to an ally welder, I went mild steel (which cost as much as this btw) 2mm thick, not the cheap crap 1.7 mm thick or less..... Polished pipe 2 of each: straight, 90 degree, 45 degree and 70 degree I think. Comes with silicon joiners and clamps and all brand new still individually wrapped. $200 ono Take the cooler and the piping $350 firm. Need these gone asap if you know anyone keen.

Well the vacuum line came from a reputable hose shop locally, so that's just fine The wastegate does work, because it controls boost in 1st second and most of the time 3rd gear. But say you're cruising at 80 in 4th........you put your foot down what happens...........the engine starts to load up, boost slowly comes on and the car pulls away. Mine......I barely put the foot down and boost freely gets up there pushing 1 bar but only with the extra boost does the car go anywhere, certainly not loading up the engine. its VERY VERY annoying.

I have a 3" dump from the turbo but it's still 2 1/2" press bent from the cat back and I know I need to change this soon, there is a slight and I do mean slight leak where the flanges meet but could that restriction be causing the problem do you think? most other people suggest cooler piping, but it would do it every gear if that's the case I would have thought. It really is only under load from 70 kph while cruising that it just free boosts rather than loading up the engine. It's bloody annoying especially going up the southern outlet each day, can't make it up the hill without hitting about 10psi (foot so slightly on the go pedal) in 4th gear.

Ok. My car seems to be almost free boosting without loading up the engine (mostly noticeable in 3rd, 4th and 5th gears) There’s no kick to the engine, but there’s a lot of boost. When revving the engine and looking under the bonnet It sounds like a slight exhaust leak from maybe the exhaust manifold.. To me that may be the reason the car is not taking off the way it should, does that sound right? To give you an idea…..going up a hill at 80kph in 4th gear, I can floor it, hit a bar of boost (not good) and the car will actually DECELERATE. Any idea’s or could I be on the money with an exhaust leak? Turbo is doing it’s job perfectly, the engine doesn’t seem to want to do it’s job tho. Any help much appreciated

hahahah, you can feel the torque, well after owning silvias, r32 gtst, r31 gts with rb25, 300TT, vr4 etc etc.....Like the torque of the RB30. Yeah turbo on, just sorting out the little problems like getting the raditator flushed today and the flywheel machined (damn vibrations in the clutch made it look like I was a retard trying to drive)

wogs....what was your torque reading on the 25? at 170rwkw my torque was 550.2Nm !!!

Ok, my R31 GTS2 is now turboed and I am one happy camper. Only managed 170rwkw on the dyno today, but that was at 7.5psi....... Need to open the exhaust size up to stop choking it and I can wind hopefully 12psi into it, should get me close to my 200rwkw aim.
