I would like to keep it as the low down torque has decreased quite noticeabley. I can tell the ECU is better once its on boost especially on my AFR guage its a way better tune I just want my low rpm torque to be optimised as I do a lot of city driving. Does anyone know which pin on the R33 pinout is the same as Pin 54 Throttle Valve Switch on the RB20 ECU?

From comparing the ECU pinouts the R33 loom covers all pins identically except for the following: On RB20 ECU Pin 54 Throttle Valve Switch (Idle Connection) On RB20 ECU Pins 56/57 Im assuming are the same as the R33 although every ECU pinout for the RB25 listed those too pins under different names AT/ABS/LSD Control Units for both. Then the only difference is Cyl No 4 & 6 Injector GNDs are the wrong way around but if it is batch fire it won't make a difference if it is sequential then these should ideally be swapped. Then the R33 Pin 133 needs to be connected to a external VCT controller to maintain factory VCT specs. Can anyone confirm what changes are required and give any good recommendations of VCT controllers

Hi, I have recently purchased a R32 ECU mapped to suit RB25DET tuned for the same mods as my car and installed it. Now as this is a R32 ECU there is no output to control the VCT so I believe I need to purchase a Vtec type controller to switch it off and on like the factory ECU would. Now I have a question firstly regarding this, is the VCT controller on the RB25 just a on / off device that the ECU switches on or does it require a special pulsing signal or such like? I ask as I plan to just use a VTEC controller if I can. Will this work just as effectively as stock once setup? Now the next question is regarding pinout differences between the ECU's. Selling a set of Japanese Linea Club lightweight mags made by the famous Crimson Inc, for those that don't know they are the masters of making lightweight forged wheels and are the manufacturer of many Jap lightweight forged wheels including Sparco rims. Specs are 5x114.3 stud pattern, 17x8" +32 offset fronts and 17x9" +38 offset rears perfect numbers to fill the guards without flaring etc. Tyres are 235/45 fronts with enough tread to get you through summer and 255/40 rears that need replacing. Wheels will clear big brakes and have just come off a R33 so will fit S14, S15 or S13/180SX with 5 stud conversion and 4 pots. Wheels also come with stainless BBS valve caps. Hi mate, You will find that the majority of aftermarket FMIC cores on the market actually only use two mounting points on the cars I have owned I have had a Greddy, Hybrid, HKS and all used just two mounting points on the sides. The two on the top sides of the intercooler are in the exact same position as on a GTR cooler which as u are pointing out a Nissan GTR cooler has two on the bottom two. Thats just overkill the two bolts at the top will be quite sufficient my mates GTR runs one of these FMIC's using the two mounting points with no problems movement etc. Its a straight bolt on. FMIC now $160 FIRM pickup or plus postage

Nah mate I didn't have wrong parts matching champ I have install heaps of these but as a engineer I know the safety issues of wrong tapers etc as there is a slight bit of play. Just change the ball joints at pedders for $100 and its all sweet. Let me know if not sold im interested in it.

The taper is different and as such unsafe I recommend u swap the ball joint in your S13 control arms to R33 items if buying this kit. So do u include the stub axels aswell or just the front hubs? The S15 hubs don't fit onto S13 stub axels. A pic of all included maybe a good idea then I will make u a offer.

What hubs does it come with? What is included at the front S14/15 stub axels and hubs or the R32/33 stuff that doesn't fit a S13? You describe it as a full kit so are S14/15 Control Arms included as the ball joint tapers are different and unsafe to use S13 balljoints on S14/15 stub axels? Will make a offer pending answer
