  1. Not my call. I'd love to though........This sort of behaviour should not be tolerated on ANY forum! All has ended well and the parts are back where they belong. Thanks for letting me use your forum to help get the guy. Simon
  2. Most parts have been recovered. I'm sure he has read this too. Thanks for your time gents.
  3. Quoted from Ozdat- Please keep an eye open and an ear to the ground for these items to track down the perp. And beware, there are some sinister people out there
  4. Sorry Sucram, the deal is for L series only. And you're right, struggling for numbers. So I need all the L series guys to step up and get good parts at a good price.
  5. These are getting cheaper due to our dollar. But if I don't get enough interest, it can't happen. Getting down closer to the $350 mark + delivery.
  6. Price is going to be determined on shipping & import dutie/taxes more than anything. Hence the price range of $350-$400 Start end date- Between now and the max of 3 months, or until I get the numbers to make it viable. I need 25 peeps interested or this doesn't happen. Have read the rules. I'm just trying to make it all affordable for me too! Have a family, mortgages and kids. So can't spend all my money on cars. I'm no newbie to Datto's. Have grown up in NDSOC as parents were foundation and life members over 40 years ago. Mum used to race when preggo with me and was in the pits at 6 weeks of age. I'm no blow by tossa. I'm a regular tossa I'd be here more if I had a Skyline, but I don't.
  7. Not true. The bolt spacing on the front will fit standard Chev pulleys. I have power steering and will add a pulley. No, I asked and deal is for L series only. Good news is that it does include the Aluminium ones too
  8. Not true, has the PCD on the front to suit any Chev pulley.
  9. What sort of problems? I've only heard good things about them, hence why I'm putting one on my car.
  10. Please join this group buy guys so we can all benefit. Group buy here Thanks, Simon
  11. Hi, I've come over from the Z forums to try and get some numbers that we can all save from. I've been in talks direct with the manufacturer to get a group buy for ATI super dampers. Available in either L4 & L6. Part numbers L4 - 917720 L6 - 917751 ATI - click here Looking to be somewhere between $350-$400 delivered. Which is a good deal as they sell for more than that in the States (without shipping) Summit racing price Please let me know if you are interested or know someone who may be. If I can't get the numbers, I cant do the deal. Thanks, Simon.
  12. Thanks anyway for looking guys. Looks like I won't get any made up due to lack of interest.
  13. Hmmmm, that is a very good point. One that I didn't think about as I only have rear sump blocks......... Are they any different? or is it the pickups that change? Soooo...... It will fit. But if the pick up is in a different location, it will be missing the 3 holes needed. Is the dipstick hole in the same place too? If someone can supply me the dimensions, I can add them to the CAD file.
  14. Hi guys, spoke with Shan (funkeymonkey) about offering these here. Block Girdle group buy HERE thanks, Simon
  15. Hi guys. I'm not on here often, mainly into the older Datsun Z's. But thought that some guys here might be interested. These used to be sold by Neil Cartlidge a decade ago. With Neil's permission, I have re-modelled these to be made available for sale. I gauging interest for Block braces / Girdle's to suit an L6. They are custom made, laser cut from high tensile steel. Very nice bits of gear. Think of it as cheap insurance for your engine. For all of those people complaining about leaking rear mains............ Thats due to crank flex. This also makes the entire block more rigid, increasing durability and performance. Neil swore they moved the harmonic vibration up the rev range. Street or race spec engines can benefit by the correct fitment of one of these. The girdles are fastened via many different methods depending on other accessories. They bolt through the mains using either longer ARP studs or Unbrako socket head cap screws (M10x90mm from memeory). Both methods require spacers approx 10.0-10.5mm (dependant on individual requirements) between the mains and the girdle. Hardened washers must be used for both methods under fasteners. If using stock sump, you should use the small pilot holes in the girdle as a drill guide to drill and tap M8 into the block webbing. This should be done during a trial fitment of the mains caps, so that everything is in the correct positions. When the girdle is removed, drill the guide holes out to a clearance size and counterbore to suit an Unbrako countersunk screw. If using an Arizona Z Car aluminium sump, use Unbrako socket head cap screws to fasten through original sump holes. Threebond can be used between the layers to seal them. I think that pretty much covers it. $180 + delivery (1 was sent to Queensland & Tassie, registered for $20. UK sea mail for $70)
