  4. guys i have your answer.

i been speaking with a place that imports the conversion kits to go from r33 to r34 front end. the kit includes headlights(original nissan), front bar of your choice, m sport fenders or r34 1, r34 bonnet in either c/f or f/g, grill and template for the hinge mountin position.

cost $1900. i was amazed as most places sell these kits for like 3400.

if u want some more info let me know

so let me get this right!

you can get an R34 front including bar, lights bonnet, fenders, grill and hinges to fit the R33 for just $1900!!

if this is so, can i get one delivered to WA please!

and does this fit a series 1 r33 or just the series 2??

and agreed more info the better, ive been looking at some where to get this done but have had crazy prices said to me, im talking $10000 plus!!

  5. i finished the game.. mwahaha

    well the career mode

its much short then most wanted, the benefits overy MW is that they brought back drifting, n u can drift with lambos, mustangs, mercedes .. not that its that great~

Over all, theres more eye candy, but thats about it

*also u can customize some of the kits, rims spoilers to a certain extent which isnt really that great anyway

  7. I think in general, as probably already stated, that bost cars have their advantages and disadvantages. Both have alot of aftermarkets available to them due to their age and popularity.

As someone stated, the rb20det is more of a 'stronger' motor, so therefore, can take more punishment (harder wearing)

The r32 gtst was made from 89-94 i believe, and the 180sx from 88-98. Obviously, the newer typeX 96-98 is much more expensive then the older models.

From what ive seen, r32gtsts' go from around 10-15k, 180sx can be as low as 6k to the newer models, 25k.

In speed magazine, they had a road test between the silvia (s13), r32gtst and the rx7 fc. Out of those cars, they recommended the s13(for the "fun factor"), while the rx-7 won in terms of general performance, and the r32gtst was an all rounder.

Of course in the end, its up to you. You need to find something that fits into your budget and your wants. B)

basically, what are you looking for in a car? i think that will determine which car you should choose. but then in the end, its personal preference isnt it?

personally, i would prefer the s15.

also, i think in one of the speed magazines they compared four cars, s15, r34, supra and rx-7. Out of all of them, the rx-7 FD came out on top to them(for their purpose). So its up to you in the end anyway.. ive seen nice cars for all of those models in terms of looks, and all of them have good potential.

and 30et.. i dont see any problem in the silvia's 4cyl engine..

(then again.. if it was a r34 gtr, well thats a different story)

  9. i cant imagine u not modifying ur sil80 if u end up getting one. like everyone said, u get a sports car, u have to be prepared to pay the expenses. Getting a sil80 is definately gonna cost much more then say a crappy ass corolla which u could pick up for a few grand. uses less petrol, dont even need to bother about insurance.. (cept maybe 3rd party) tyres are cheap as chips, parts are plentiful...

Now, in my opinion, that would be the quickest way. When you really want to get something like a gtr, u have to sacrifice a lot, they dont come cheap.. even if it means waiting 3 years.. you'll definately end up with more money, and insurance would be much cheaper.. (also if u get insurance for u sil80 n crash.. ur premium will sky rocket.. and u mite not even get insurance for ur gtr when the time comes... )

  10. heh scathing ...

that reminds me of seeing a wrx with 19" rims going around the track... -.-

A car enthusiast must have at least more then one car... a race car, and a pimped car

Then agian, in japan atm they are all about combining the street car with the race car style, becuz its more of a challenge then if it was just circuit/drag built. (eg gutted interior etc) Also, becuz its more practical that way for normal people to have a fast car they can drive on the street, n they make more money .. etc etc

Sure if u want a blinged out car, you can get the attention. But attention isnt always a good thing...cops, critics
