Thanks for everyones input, in the end i cut 15mm off the pipe which left the bottom of the pump 3-4mm off the bottom of the tank. And it works great!. Thanks again

Hey all, im installin a 040 fuel pump ito my R32 gtst, i have modifyed the bracket and wires to take it all, my prob is now the whole assembly is to long by about 2cm, how do i get aroud this, The only way i see it happening is if i cut down the zinc coted pipe that conects to the top of the pump ,because the top of the pump and bottom of the pipe are pushed up to each other, something i would rather not do, if there is another way around Can someone please help or post a link to pics or a write up of someone here who has done this, Thanks

I love that convertable S15, non turbo and has no coilovers he does a good job Its good to see fink up there again

that a good piece of advice. Being in a drift car i would be happy getting 2-3 years out of the motor

i have a quote from guys in tas to build one for 3k with forgies, so i will have to see wat quotes here a like i have sent a few emails way for rough quotes so i will wait and see. Wat do u think it is going to cost for a rb20 with forgies and some other parts like good bearings, seals/gaskits, rings , maybe rods. Guess it all depends on pro advice on how far to go.

found out today that its the bottem end bearings. so time for another engine..any one know where to get a good reliable rb20 from ?????????
