  1. $88 for some dude to come out and repair a small crack in the front windscreen of the car. better be worth it!!!
  2. Hrmmm! today tonight threat hey! this sounds like a way to get the media involved and humiliate this cop even more to the public. i think today tonight would have a bit more of a feild trip with this cop then the courts would *hrmm, thinks*
  3. just find a security guard who would be happy to sit on the tyre and fall asleep on it for you.
  4. Unfortantly when it comes to trees in great locations for photo shoots, there really is no choice. So best idea is to usually try and work around them. I've also found that having "people" in photos with cars is disturbing to the photo. the point of the photo is the car, not the person. a good backdrop can sometimes be good but make sure you dont have one thats more over powering to the eye. As much as I hate to refer to boostcruising.com site... alot of the photos we've recently been taking and uploading there have been getting alot better.
  5. Best offer I've received yet is $450. Anyone willing to match or beat this price, please PM me. Person isnt able to make payment for atleast another week. There are no problems at all with this AVC-R. It's in excellent condition. Also comes with - Apex'i bracket to mount it anywhere you want. - Complete wiring kit for it, etc. A pic can be found in my 'For Sale' thread of my car (see interior shot). Link is in my signature.

  7. I've heard in many instances where people have recorded conversations from face to face without the other party knowing. the issue has been taken to court and they rock up with this recording bringing it in as evidence. the judge listens and based on what is actually said in the conversation the judge has let it help the case. in other cases, the judge has thrown the recording out. so i guess the recording really comes down to what is actually said in it.
  8. I've got the manual somewhere for it im pretty sure. if not, its easily available to download from the apexi usa website which is where i got my manual from. yes, wiring does come with it.
  9. What can you get defected for? haha! pretty much anything these days. and if the cop is in the wrong, then its you who has to go through all the trouble of getting the defect notice and fine dismissed which means, you got to take time off work to go to court and babble a whole load of shit to a judge who has nothin better to do all day then to sit behind a bench and hear everyones bullshit. clearly, i got to go through this myself and get my 2 fines dismissed cause some stupid cop doesnt know how to do his job properly. in the end the cop is just goin to cop the bad end of the stick cause maybe all these years he's had it easy handin out fines and defects to ppl for no reason, but this time, he's hit the wrong person and has given me more then enough motivation and fuel to have everythin thrown back at him. what would be really cool in my opinion is if the judge was to have every fine and defect notice handed out by this one cop, gone through all of them and had anyone reinburst for the false fines/defects hes handed out. hahahahah! that would be cool to see! but doubtful
  10. yes, i can vouch for this statement!
  11. umm, yeh! if u say so
  12. well the government allow businesses to sell things that go on your car that are classified as "illegal" to have. so i dont see why the government would excuse themselves from selling things that can be "illegal" on your car to.
  13. GTS skylines suck! GTS-T FTW!

  16. to many issues with the other person involved along with finding out there would be issues with the engine (e.g - it was running on normal unleaded fuel). stupid thing was pingin badly as well.
  17. Top 8 DON'T - As Advised By 'Speed' Magazine -Don't shoot your car on grass or sand (You wouldn't believe how many times this came up over the article) leave it for the cows. - Don't allow telegraph poles or trees to be in the background as it will look like they are sticking out of your cars roof. - Don't leave windows half open. - Don't shoot dark cars in the middle of the day. - Don't have shadows cast under or over the car. - Don't forget to wash your car, dirt really shows up in pictures. - Don't just take one shot. I know most of them a gimmies but you'd be surprised how many cars I see on here not following the most obvious ones. Top 8 DOS - As Advised By 'Speed' Magazine - Do shoot your car on concrete or asphalt; it looks natural - Do shoot dark cars in soft ambient late-afternoon light. (Sunset always looks awesome) - Do examine the paint all the paintwork for clean, simple reflections - Do point the wheels AWAY from the camera (so everyone can see your wicked expensive rims) - Do keep the background clean and simple (remember it’s about your ride not the scenery) - Do try to find a low angle that will make your car look phat. - Do detail everything, such as windows, tires and inner guards. - Do experiment and practice. Other photo tips from professional photographers such as Mark Bean, Guy Bowden, Cristian Brunnelli or Tony Rabbitte. - Shoot dark cars at sunset or sunrise, shoot bright cars in sunshine. Pearl, candy and metallic need sun and lots of it. - Again NO grass, sand or trees growing out of the roof. - Gaffer tape is a useful waxing tool on carpet if a vacuum cleaner is not at the ready. - Black the tires, black the tires, black the tires. - Check the off-camera objects and make sure your mates yellow R32 isn't reflecting in your beautiful paintwork. Ensure your shots are clean. Top photographers use the reflection of the landscape horizon to emphasize body lines. - Hit the deck cars look great from a low angle, giving that mean outta-my-way stance. Beware of ants. - Do try taking shots of your car on the move action shots always look great. - Again make sure your car is immaculately clean with all those little extras not forgotten. - When taking interior shots park the whole car in a shaded area. - Study your subject first. Walk around the car and view it at different view points, to see which angle looks best. - Don't be afraid to move your car around, this will make your collection more diverse.
  18. gtr is gone. sold it.
  19. OK, rice it is if the engine needs a rebuild, i'll do it, not a problem. i'll talk to dan about this but from previous discussions, the rb25det engine can pretty much handle up to 300kw's without a rebuild but thats not constantly running a large amount of psi all the time. lately, i just been runnin stock boost (turnin the avc-r to 'off' mode) and whenever needed or wanted, i just flick it over to map A or B.
  20. yeh, but if u have someone with u as a witness, then they need someone to uphold their side of the story as well. remember, we are tryin to turn this world around so the cops can give up their game of over powering people with their bullshit!!!! and Cop M. Little is the first to cop the stick! heheh
  21. engine built? its already running.
  22. all in the pipelines with the new turbo
  23. highflow turbo disappears in a few wks time..... upgradin to a bigger and better turbo. the avc-r may spit out the readings but sick of seein the 3 or 4 lines (boost, spd, rev, thr) so to illiminate this, i can then have the avc-r show boost, sol, thr and whatever else and have the RSM just spit out the spd and rpm. a digital readout from these is far better then the analog readout from the speedo and rpm in front of me. plus if a cop wants to pull me up for speeding, then i got the chance to prove him wrong if i want with this technology we can use to our advantage to screw up a cop!
