  1. Hey guys, cleaning out my garage and need to sell my old R33 S1 front bumper bar. Lights included. Paint is ok, but there are some scratches and chips and scuff marks here and there, as it came off a 1993 model car, but the bar itself in good condition. See photo's attached. Damaged skyline R33 GTS-T $4500 ONO Car: 1993 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-t Automatic – Black - Located in Essendon - VIC Reason for selling: This was my first car and I was the first owner since it was imported from Japan 10 years ago and looked after it as if it was my baby, always garaged, always serviced with synthetic oils every 5K km’s etc. Car was stolen from Crown Casino and then was recovered by Frankston police a day later and was believed to be involved in an accident. Only had 3rd party insurance. Was going to fix it up, but got a new job with a bit of travel so thinking about buying a smaller hatchback. I will not separate any of the parts so please don’t ask. Price: Willing to negotiate but at this stage $4500 ONO – Will not separate parts, as I don’t have the time to take bits off. Damage: front end, front qtr panels, rear bumper and the rear right qtr. Engine still starts. Was told it was repairable with a bit of time and money. Recently installed Clarion Head unit face (only the face though – who knows why?) and alpine amp and sub was taken. Refer to photo’s and more photo’s can be supplied on request and happy to answer any questions. Goods of note on the car: Apexi N1 turbo back Exhaust with aftermarket high flow cat. R34 Bigger side mount cooler. Apexi SAFC II K&N pod filter Brand new: KYB sports gas struts Aftermarket Steering wheel (unknown brand) Brand new: DBA slotted front brake discs Interior still in great condition

  6. Hey guys! so here is the sob story, Ive had my R33 gts-t for almost 10 years now and has loved every moment of it. About 2 weeks ago i parked my car at crown casino 'secure' car park in the morning and when i went to go home, the car was gone - just like that out of the car park! so i made a police report immediately, but i did not hold much hope to get the car back as i suspected it was a professional job and they would have stripped the car etc. I get a call from Frankston Police a day later to say that they found the car, and they had towed it to their yard. I went to see the car the next day, it was in pretty bad shape, body wise, they had hit something and most the panels were damaged and the front left had gone in pretty bad, but the engine was still in great shape. The idiots who stole the car had taken the Face of my head unit but not the actual headunit itself - go figure. So i dont think it was the offspring of Einstein who had taken it. Possibly some juvi's going for a joy ride who couldn't really drive properly. They had Taken my reading glasses, Amp and Sub, GPS but not my SAFC. Long story short, i only had 3rd party, not even fire and theft (even though it was only extra 120 bucks when i got the insurance renewal this yr, but i just thought meh my car wont get stolen) so i have to cop it sweet as it was my fault not having at least Fire and Theft. I even had to pay for the towing ($120) from wherever they found it in Frankston to the police impound. Nice slap in the face. So right now I got a Black 1993 R33 GTS-t Auto that has always been well looked after, just had new shocks and rotors put in, all belts changed, serviced every 5K with premium oils for the last 10 yrs etc and no crazy mods etc sitting my garage in a sad state. The Engine still roars to life when you turn the key but it has no drive (possibly cos the Tranny cooler had snapped in half and there is no tranny oil) and to be honest, as much as I love the car, i feel like its been raped and i dont really want to attempt to rebuild it and i got a new job which has to do a bit of traveling and i think its time for a new more economical car. (having said that, I found myself looking at R33 GTR's the other day) so i was wondering, what sort of price should i sell the whole car for? I honestly have no idea. I have no doubt it could be repaired, but might cost a bit of money. I don't really wanna strip the parts as i dont have the time or the energy to do that. Here are a list of some the goodies it has: Apexi N1 turboback exhaust, Apexi Safc2, K&N air filter, Brand New KYB shocks (less than 1K done on these) Brand new DBA slotted rotors. As i have mentioned, the Engine is still in great condition and has not been impacted by the accident. so how much should i sell the whole thing for? thanks guys!

  9. ye i was thinking the same thing! might have to flush it and put a new batch in! but can you really go that wrong with auto tranny fluid?
  10. the power is still good too! still gets on to boost and accelerates well, just when it slows down is when the problem comes out!
  11. hmm, but it revs fine? it only does it when i let go of the throttle, so im thinking it might be a fuel related / timing issue?
  12. Hey guys! need some advice / help! got my car serviced recently and ever since then the car has been running pretty crappy! I cant figure out what it is, it runs fine mostly, but when i let go of the throttle i can feel a vibration coming through the car, can feel it through the drivers seat and through the foot rest where the clutch would be (cars auto), that whole left side vibrates, not dramatically, but enough to notice easily. It seems to get worse on lower revs and i can't figure out what it is, coil packs and plugs are fine, car was running fine before the service. The car doesn't sound the same as it used to either, seems to be more quieter than normal on idle and as i said when i rev upto like 2K and then slowly let og of the throttle i can feel the car vibrate and then become stable again, really weird! HELP! car: R33 Gts-t Auto mods: turbo back exhuast, Pod, R34 Side mount, bleed valve boosted to around 9-10psi and SAFCII tuned by RE customs what the service guys did: change plugs change belts (not the timing though) oil change auto transmission fluid change thanks!

  14. hey mate, ye it hasnt dont it again! i drove it heaps yesterday night and gave it a bit of a trashing, it seemed all fine, car still feels a bit strange though, as in seems, but the car still doesnt feel as quick as it used to be? maybe i might need to reset the ECU after reinstalling the sensor plug.
  15. hey mate, i drove it all last night and it didnt happen again, but the car feels very different to normal, maybe its running really rich? it seems to be less responsive than it used to be and car sounds a lot more dull/quiet than what i remember it to sound on idle?

Hey Guys, just got my car (r33 gts-t) recently serviced from a different service place to my normal place and they have done a pretty shitty job! anyways, i got the car back home and then it wouldnt start once it got warm and i could smell electrical wire burning, once i opend the bonnet, i saw what the issue was, the wire harness the connects to the oxygen sensor on the downpipe had come off a table tie and was sitting on top of the turbo and it had melted it nicey all the way through, anyway i called the service people, they came down and swapped the plug over, (however not an original R33 wire clip) and it all seems fine etc So today was the first day i took it for a proper spin and it was all good until i hit the freeway, i was driving along fine for around 10 mins then and accelerated to around 120 and i felt like the engine just died and dropped power and even though i was holding onto throttle, the power was dropping, the strange thing was there was no stuttering or missing(which you would get with coil packs/spark plug issues) it just felt like i lifted off the power but i was still accelerating. it was really strange. I took the next exit and it was running fine after that, and was reving without any problems. This has never happend before and i was wondering what the issue could be? could be be related to a dodgy job on the repalcement oxy sensor? The service guys changed the spark plugs could this be a issue? i am a bit lost what the service guys changed engine oil transmission oil (car is auto) spark plugs (platinum) most of the blets like fan belt etc my theory is that its something to do with the o2 sensor and the ecu is not detecting the correct figures, so running the car rich by defualt, thoughts? sorry about the long write up, but all feedback much appreciated so i can get to the bottom of it thanks guys, Din
  18. hey mate! i couple of people have said its the air flow meter, but its been working fine before i got my car serviced. What they did stuff up was that they accidently damaged the o2 sensor on the downpipe (by leaving it on top of the turbo and it melted) and they replaced it, but maybe they did a shoddy job? does anyone know if the O2 sensor on the down pipe is connected to the AFM in anyway?

  20. hey guys! just got my car serviced and found an issue when driving back on the freeway, i was going around 110 km/h and all of a sudden during acceleration, the car started to lose power and saw the speedo going the opposite way, this lasted for about 2-3 secs! was wondering what this might be? Why would the engine while accelerating bog down and loose power then regain all the power at once? its idle's and runs fine normally and this is the first time its ever happend. Its a R33 gts-t. any feedback welcomed!
