  1. Thanks for your utterly useless comment. It is not too much effort, and in fact I have been very much involved in my car since I have owned it, I have been very hands on especially for someone not so mechanically minded. I am not unprepared to do any work, but for crying out loud 6 out of 12 months off the road?!?!?! Frustration is the best description of zed ownership, and I have been on aus300zx.com constantly, but enough is enough. A car has to maintain some sort of practicality or it is just not worth it. I would love the power of a GTR or the looks of an R33, but not if it is going to be the same heartache as the zed. Does anyone have anything useful to say?
  2. Hi guys, I am new here. I used to own a 300ZX TT, which I loved and had plenty of go, but required heaps of time, fuel and money continually. I owned the car for a little under a year and it was off the road more than half that time, being repaired or maintained. I am now interested in an R32 GTR or R33 GTST. Both are within my price range and, my questions are: - R32 GTR vs. R33 GtsT (keep in mind power is only good if it is reliable!!) - What specific issues or weak points can I keep a look out for on the two models in question? - Am I really going to have less problems/expense with a Skyline over the 300? - I used to get about 300 - 400kms per 65 - 70 litres in the Zed on BP Ultimate, can I expect better fuel economy than this? - I am really sick of owning a car that requires all my time, energy and money, will a Skyline be less maintenance, and if yes - which out of the R32 GTR and R33 GtsT will be less work just to keep it on the road (not really looking to mod). If anyone else can think of any other reasons I will be better off I am keen to know. I need convincing or I am going to just buy a freaking Barina and be done with it! Thanks, Scott
