Hey all Just got a hybrid intercooler for my r34 gtt. So far ive been quoted $350 for install, does anyone know if this is a good price or if there are any places where i can get it cheaper etc looking for north shore preferably but dont mind a drive for a cheaper install also i was told by one place that hybrid intercoolers are hard to install and hit the fan or something on r34's anyone know about this? tnx B)

the autoone in waitara has some generic brand "motorsport" or something and they have red, blue, yellow and silver also a repco next door, duno what they got

did u try calling auto one they apparently stock duticolor, ill head up to the wiatara one and check

chatswood autobarn had red when i was there, it wasnt in its normal place the guy found them bottom left corner (i think) of shelf in back right corner with other paints etc

I was just at autobarn chatswood, they have some caliper paint left for use up to 490 degrees C, got that and a brake/parts cleaner. So im in if your not full btw got red, suits my black car oops got VHT brand :S

hey all, sounds like an interesting event just a few stupid questions. Are the paints spray paint based or brush on? Do u need a special gloss type coating to apply after? Last question does anyone know how hard or easy it will be to get a nice result, ie from exp? tnx

thanks for all the feedback. i got pfc before exhaust coz i was running very rich and getting bad fuel economy, was worried i might have a problem but tune fixed everything ; also once i get exhaust etc its a hourly rate for dyno tune, so no $500 fee everytime i want a tune i didnt get a dyno run before pfc install, only before pfc tune amd i went from 138rwkw to 153rwkw and from 210Nm min 420Nm max torque to 302 Nm min 435Nm max.

Today at bel i got a power fc install and tune, only mods are k&n panel and bov. I got 153rwkw and 435Nm torque (r34 gtt), does this seem a bit low for the power output? ive heard of ppl getting 170's with just power fc but ive been told it depends on the type of dyno and run? one of the bel guys told me hes seen cars get 180+ and only 140+ kw on thier dyno, so how does that work?

r34 gtt all stock except hks SSQ bov, k&n panel filter and power fc. 153kw 435Nm torque done at bel. good or bad results?
