ye i was and i was in desperate need had trouble finding 1 in decent condition, decide to call someone up who i have sourced gtr parts from b4 and he said he had 1 lying around so i wnt n checked it out,, we look at it and he said for some reason it has a little R above the engine number on the right hnd side, i check the markings and it had 24U. i didnt say anythin about it being n1 as he might bump the price up, i paid 4 it and now its at my machinist getting bored out to suit my 87mm cp's 10 min later i get a call from a friends friend saying he has a spare standard block i can have for free providing i get it stripped and give back the crank etc so ye, was a good day for my cars road back to recovery!!!!!

i understand the 24u marking is n1, but what would he miniature R above the engine number mean?? :S never seen or heard of it.

i got myself a new block today, well not new, just been machined, for $1000, to my surprise it was marked 24U on the side, im happy also has a little R above the engine number, wat does this mean if anything?? thanks

ive seen that the tein super street come close to the hks drag c/o in springrates. both being available at around the 4/5 kg front and back, are the hks ones worth the extra money?? or will super streets do the job? its not a full drag car jus every wednesday/friday ill head down to the track and give it a go.

want to buy myself a good ebc but getting mixed answers, ome saying blitz, turbosmart and hks.. using a 50mm pro gate and motec also. a good, easy to use and setup and accurate ebc..? any opinions/expriences?? only lookin 4 top of the line shit. thx
