cops called this morning they found the car which was crashed and on fire the mrs went and looked today and apprently they hit the boot with a pick and engine or some such crap ill get more info later tonight... i was quoted when the douch comment was made i didnt mean to sound like i was angry at anyone in particular was just in a bad mood and angry in general also id like to add it doesnt really matter what alarm you have if they want the car bad enough they will take it. the mrs car had an alarm with a pager ( a fob on her keys with a screen and a pic of a car that goes off vibrates and makes noices depending on whats going on) and had immobiliser but it obviosuly didnt stop them. witnesses said they saw the thief(s) hitting the dash area with what looked like to be a pole so maybe they found wires or something to use to start it..

cheers i may do that i figured out that if i earth the purple wire and give the yellow +12 it locks and if i give the yellow wire an earth and the purple +12 it unlocks Leon do you have msn

ok which wire does both? and is it +12 that triggers it or an earth?

all i need to know is if they are negativly tiggered and whiich wires to use if anybody knows it would be much appreciated

i have a series 2 r33 it has standard central locking with a button on the key and it works fine. i'm trying to wire an after market alarm system from jaycar but cant seem to figure out how to tap into the standard central locking does any body have any idea's? or know where i can get a wiring diagram any help would be much appreciated cheers brad

i have a FMIC kit im wanting to put it on a s2 r33 but im worried about deploying the airbags... are there any sensors or anything on the front end i should look out for? i searched but only found that the computer for the airbags is in the console hense it being shallow... there are a couple of things on the s2 front end that are different to the s1 that i arent quit sure what they are any help would be appreciated cheers, brad

i got it running as per micks instructions although i dont have the vacuum line with the restrictor in it and it seems fine

im fairly sure the fronts are +30 and the back are +40

yeah if you can get it working let me know because im having trouble lol. i also tried it with a t peice from the line from the actuator and the pipe under the cooler piping and another one from the intercooler piping

i treid the lines both ways but i was a little worried id do some damage can anybody confirm which way they are supposed to go? also id like to know what im looking for with a multimeter with the wires coming from the solinoid as i said before i tried the vac lines both ways and i even tried another solinoid from my mates car which i know works.

my r33 gtst needs to pass an EPA test and to do so i need to have standard boost control parts running. at the moment i have a duel stage boost controller and it runs fine with the duel stage. when i put the vac lines to the standard controller it overboosts. can someone tell me what vac lines need to go where? also i have made sure the plug that comes from the standard controller is plugged in and i have even tried another one from a mates car. could the wiring for the standard controller be used for the aftermarket unit? if so what should i be testing for with the multi meter? the after market controller has an earth wire and a wire running through the firewall and i cant see if the wire from the standard plug has been cut as it dissapears into a loom. any help would be much appreciated. thanks, brad (also my car has a standard turbo,FMIC and at the moment the airbox is fitted and i have checked for vaccum leaks)
