  1. Make: Volkswagon Model: mk1 golf gls Milage: ?? Colour: green Location: Sydney RWC supplied? yes Currently registered? yes Price: open to offers Contact: [email protected] Hey guys, just putting out a eoi for my mk1 golf, it's fully worked and fully sorted. I'm going overseas for a month in december and although ill have no problems keeping it, if someone will take it i will sell. VW Mk1 Golf GLS (4-door) SUPERCHARGED 2.0l 1979 Body in excellent condition, slight rust in front guards at the bottom of the wheel arch, these panels are bolt on panels, i have one spare ready to be preped and painted, you can get them for about 80 bucks each. Absolutely none in the usual pillars or hatch or anywhere else and definitely no structural areas. Surface rust behind the rear number plate easily fixed. this car passed rego, blue slip , engeneers etc so you know its very minor Car had only two previous owners first owner was a old lady, then it was sold to a enthusiest who did all the work, i bought this off him in july. The car has been my daily driver and it is very reliable and i have not had any troubles with it. Doors close beautifully, windows wind smoother than any mk1 I have seen and even the dash is hardly cracked. Modifications: - Supercharged Intercooled rebuilt 1995 2.0l AGG 8v motor, - microtech LT8 engine management system, - 5-speed gearbox, sway bars, - Sirocco10.1” brakes, - Spax sport springs/Sachs shocks, - 2.5” exhaust with mandrel bends, - tinted windows, - sway bars, - vl fuel pump - volvo injectors - and a load of other bits and pieces such as strengthened cv's etc This engine produced 112kw@wheels (approx 145kw@flywheel) when first dyno-ed however it is expected to make a little more since larger injectors were fitted (from a Volvo 740t – 300cc injectors) and the rev limiter was lifted. The supercharger is a SC14 from a Toyota crown and has an electro-magnetic clutch (like on an air-conditioner compressor). It can be switched on and off mad-max style and there is a switch near the steering wheel for easy access. The change when you turn it on is quite dramatic. There is no lag whatsoever and you have 9-10psi boost any time you flick that switch doesn’t matter what revs you are doing. The engine and exhaust note changes dramatically too. lot of people have asked me if i have a group a v8 in there, apparently it sounds like this when the blower is on. With the supercharger turned off the car still produced 68kw@wheels (approx 85kw@flywheel) so is no slouch. The car ran a low 14-second 99mph quarter on crappy street tyres and could probably go quicker based on that trap speed. I had the smaller injectors and hence the intrusive rev limiter which I hit at least once on both runs. The gearbox has a taller diff ratio than some of the earlier 5-speeds (3.67:1) which I prefer for street driving as the gearing becomes a bit taller and first gear is not over in the blink of an eye. There is more than enough torque to handle this. The car is fully engeneered and has rego till july 2008 The car is valued at 9500 with just cars third part fire and theft, im open to offers of purchase or swapping for cars of interest.I'm after 6000 for the car or im happy to swap for thing newer plus cash. please email me on [email protected] for inquirys
  2. hey guys selling a blitz spec s ebc, used but in top condition and comes with everything, dont have box or instructions anymore. email [email protected] if interested
  3. Hey guys, im really desperate for a daily driver, must but road worthy, preferbally regoed, manual, rwd, reliable! looking at spending 1000-2000. Please email me on [email protected] with info and pics. I'm located in sydney thanks
  4. Hey guys I'm looking for a tidy r33 gtr but s2 or 3 (dual airbags) if had a look around the forums but thought i'd post this up in case you guys can bring a few more to my attention. Must be from Sydney thanks thanks
  5. Hey guys, just gauging interest for my car, I'm getting into business so i might sell up and buy something a bit cheaper. Anyway it's a evo 8 mr in gunmetal colour, - its done 15xxx kms - it had 9000 when i imported - genuine kms and 5a conditioon (still have original auction papers) I'm looking for 49 000ono, but i may be interested in swapping for - 32 gtr - 33 gtr - 34 gtt plus realistic cash on my side of course pm me if you want to talk about it, I'll try to get pics soon.
  6. hey guys, i cant seem to be able to find any info anywhere, im just wondering, what colurs did the 33 gtr's come in? white, black, midnight purple, silver, did they come in gunmetal grey? also i take it the lm v spec came in blue? did the normal v specs ever come in bayside blue? oh and whats ure opinion on lm v specs? are they heaps more expensive than normal v specs and are they worth getting? thanks
  7. yeah, and a race queen taste test as well hahaha
  8. - Sydney - 03 wrx - wr blue - ANR 42P - serviced every 6000 - 45 XXX kms - quicktrack - rego till feb 2006 - full service history - side skirts colur coded - 1 owner - still under warranty enquiries call 0412 022208 or email [email protected] 32 000 but of course it's negotialble reason for selling is lack of use so i'd rather pocket cash or buy something more raw for a weekend warrior.
  9. eric- "i have no money" is not a good enough excuse, when someone damages another's property. he must pay, if he has money for petrol bills, rego, and to maintain avehicle he will definatly have 900 bucks. in all honesty u are already being nice to him by giving him a chance to get a quiote at his place. u could be a kunt and goto the most expensive repairers! i made the mistake of being nice and going to a place recomended to me by the guy who damaged my car. the place was shit! it specialised in doing taxi repairs, they did a half assed job everywhere!! eg- the rear bumper required to be resprayed the idiots didnt even bother taking it off! they masked it and some paint got over my exhaust!!!
  10. im from there, u dont need to go as far as yuen long to get performance parts, but the prices there might be a bit cheaper and theres more possibility they'll have stock. theres a street in mong kok, near the basketball/soccer courts that have performance parts. shops like crazy racing, and all that are there. if they dont have stock they can ususally get what ure after within 2 days, so go there in the early parts of your stay.
  11. yeah im either gonna buy privatly or from a yard where i can drive and inspect the car. what do you guys think about the shops on parra road? if theyre not dodgy i might just go and trade in with the wrx. any good shops to look ouyt for there?
  12. im a gambler by blood, im from hong kong hahaha, but since ive grown up here, i havent got a gambling bone in my body. i guess a car is something you shouldnt be gambling with, even more the case when i plan on keeping this car for 3-5 years. can you guys reocmend me trustworth places to purchase from the floor?
